Battlefield Part 2

Lloyd's POV

We heard the horrifying scream of the strongest man alive. Cole. He had a long sword with fire symbols around the handle sticking out of his stomach, and Kai was standing right above him. 

"COLE!!!" We all screamed as we ran over to him, but before we got to him Kai's body fumed with flames and shot it towards us. I flew back with burns on my left arm and I moaned in pain as I tried to sit up.

I saw multiple people running towards me, but I couldn't tell who they were because my vision was blurry.

"Lloyd are you alright" I heard a robotic voice say 

My first thought was that is was Zane, "Zane is that you? I can't see you or anything at the matter" I explained 

"The flames must've not only hit his arms, but his eyes as well. It looks temporary though, so it should wear off in a day or two" I heard Zane say again

"I'm blind?" I asked worried as I shook my head hoping it wasn't true.

All I could hear were just footsteps along the know destroyed ground, so I just wondered how many people were even here, "Who is with you Zane?" I asked

"Skylor, Misako, Wu, and I Lloyd. Nya and Jay went to help Cole" He informed me

"I guess I can't fight for a while" I said a little disappointed 

"This is a fight is the siblings battle to fight not ours. The legend says that Ninjago will be destroyed by the siblings of fire and water. One fighting for good the other forced to fight for evil, they will be hurting not only themselves, but also the city itself" Zane told me as he helped me stand up

"So then what do we do know?" I asked while using Zane's arm for support 

"Now we wait" 

Nya's POV

Zane went over to Lloyd who was on the ground groaning in pain after Kai shot a fire bomb at him while Jay and I ran to Cole who still has a sword in his stomach. Once Jay and I reached Cole blood was flowing out from his stomach. Jay tried to pull the sword from his stomach, but every time he tried Cole yelled in pain. I looked over to my right to see Kai huffing and puffing for oxygen. 

"Jay, take Cole somewhere safe. I'll take care of my brother" I told him about to walk over to him but I felt a hand grab my wrist

"Don't go Nya please. Didn't you just see what he did to Lloyd and Cole!? I can't lose you too Nya you're all I've got" He pleaded with tears streaming down his face. I have never seen him cry before other then my death with the sky pirates.

"Kai won't hurt me Jay. He's my brother" I told him after wiping away a tear from his face, "I'll be okay, alright. Just take care of the others for me and keep them safe for me" and he let go of my wrist and ran over to Kai.

Sweat was coming down my forehead and my limbs were aching, but I needed to keep going for Jay, for Kai, for my team. I need to do this for them.
