Are You On Our Side?

Nya's POV

I watched as my brother and best friend was taken to the bottom of the ship and chained with vengstone. I couldn't help but wonder what would happen when Kai wakes up. I couldn't just leave him, but I need to protect Ninjago from Greg.

"That should keep them here for a while" I heard Cole said 

"yeah let's just hope that Kai's new powers don't melt them" Jay joked 

I couldn't help but stare at my sleeping brother not knowing when or how he'll wake up. He could possibly kill someone for the matter. I don't wan to think about it anymore. I felt a pair of arms around my waist and I know all too well who it was.

"Hey Jay" I said with a smile

"You doing okay" He asked me

"Fine just wondering that's all" I told him

"Is it about Kai?" He asked

"What do you think" I joked

"Why are you so worry about your brother Nya?" He asked

"It's just. What if we defeat the government, but Kai is evil" I asked, "I'm just worried that if he becomes evil how will he turn back to normal"

"We'll find a way" He told me before we heard Zane from the other room

"Guys! It's Kai he has waken up!" He informed us

We all ran to the bottom of the boat with Cole already there. Kai was fully awake, but his eyes are a blood red. He tried to wrangle out of his chains, but it didn't work.

"Kai do you know who we are" Cole asked

"Yes" Kai hissed, "I know who all of you are"

"What is your purpose here" Zane asked him

"To destroy everything" He responded 

I felt like I was going to cry, but instead I walked over to Kai and kneeled down to his height, "Kai you don't know what you're saying right now" I told him 

"Nya" He said, "Join me and together we can destroy Ninjago"

"You're not the first one to tell me that brother" I told him, "But I will not let our home fall"

I felt something grab my wrist to see Kai was able to put his hand on it, "Don't let me suffer" He said 

He started screeching in pain as a bright light was gleaming in my eyes. I fell onto the ground with Kai's hand off mine as memories started to come back.

'Come back to me in one piece, okay'

'Girl power'

'Black or blue'

'Go with the flow'

'We're friends and that's all we are'

'Save me Jay Walker'

'I remember, I remember it all'

Why were my memories coming at a beam of light? What did my brother do.

"Nya! Nya are you alright" I heard a voice say

"I'm fine Jay" I said sitting up, "What happened"

"You looked at a beam of light in Kai then next thing you know your eyes glowed blue and past out on the floor" Cole said 

"How long was I out for?" I asked 

"Not long only 30 minutes" Jay assured 

But before I could say anything else we heard a horrifying scream from the ship. We all ran to the bottom of the ship, and we were shocked to what we found....
