Ninjago Civil War

Battlefield Part 3

Nya's POV

As I walked up to my brother I wondered is this it. Could this be the last battle I will ever fought? I may never know.

I looked at my brother with his dark red eyes filled with rage, but compassionate. I know the Kai I know is still in there. 

"Kai" I said calmly as I walked closer to him. He looked up at me with fear in his eyes.

"I don't want to fight you" He said scared 

"I know" I told him, "Just come with me and will get through this together"

He looked down at the ground with the little flames coming out of it. "I almost killed our friends, Nya" Kai told me, "I don't deserve to even live" 

I got scared when he said I don't want to live. I don't even think the Kai I know would even say that. "No Kai everyone deserves a chance okay. I can see you have changed" I assured him

"No I don't" He said as he grabbed a dagger from his belt and aimed it for his chest.

"Kai! No don't do this" I yelled at him

"I started it all now I need to end it so the legend doesn't happen" He said before stabbing himself in the chest. I screamed as he fell to the ground and lay there. I ran to his corpse and cried with him in my arms. Of all the people I had to lose it was Kai.

I heard foot steps from behind to see Jay, Lloyd, Zane, and Cole standing above me and Kai. Cole has bandages around his torso while Lloyd used Zane for support.

Jay walked up to me and kneeled down with me. I lay Kai down on the ground and hugged Jay as I cried into his chest. 

"Why did it have to be him" I cried 

"I don't know Nya" Jay said comforting me 

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Lloyd walking up to Kai and kneeled down to his level. He walked his hands up Kai's chest and his hands glowed green. I looked up from Jay's chest and kept my eyes on Kai. The energy from Lloyd's hands soon absorbed the rest of Kai's body making him float in the air. Then I heard a puff of air come from Kai and he opened his eyes. As he came back to the ground he sat up and looked at the team.

"Did ya miss me" He asked and we all gave him a big hug

"We thought you were dead!" Cole exclaimed 

"I thought I was too, but thanks to Lloyd I'm alive" Kai responded 

I looked back at Lloyd who was just trying to look for Zane and I whispered, 'Thank you' and hugged my brother never wanting to let go of him.

And that is when I realized that the war has ended. A couple days later, Greg was removed from office and was brought to prison. And the age of the ninja continued for many years . I had a kid with Jay after I was 21 and the other ninjas has kids of their own. I'm just ready for what the world will bring next for this ninja team.

And that is the end of another Ninjago book!! I really enjoyed writing this book and thank you for all the love and support for this book. I have already have another book published called 'The Princess & The Thief' ready for y'all to read after this. Si I wish you far well and I will see you in the next book BYEE!!!!
