Am I Alone?

Cole's POV

You know how most people regretted something they did in the past. Well I might have regretted everything once I jumped out of the window with no use of my arms whatsoever. 

I also realized that the lab we were in was on the top floor, and from my point of view was the 30th floor.... What am I thinking I'm the master of Earth!

I held onto Jay and Zane tightly as we got closer to the ground. I need to concentrate on how I land and hopefully I won't end up like Tincan and ZapTrap here...

Jay was just screaming to the top of his lungs while Zane.... Well he's Zane. My feet touched to cold hard ground as we have finally landed from death. I placed Jay and Zane down gently to give my arms a break and for some reason kissed the ground.

"You really are desperate" I heard Jay joke trying to laugh, but failed miserably from his stab wound.

"Hey just be grateful that I didn't let go off you. Besides I wasn't the one screaming all the way down here" I teased, "We need to call Misako and Wu to bring the bounty over here before anyone recognize us"

"Do you think they're still at the library?" Jay asked trying to stand up

"I don't think so... wait a minute! Weren't we all on the bounty when we got taken?" I asked 

"Yeah it was when we got lock in... Oh" Jay said after realizing we might not get a ride home after all

I then turned on my head com to try to contact Misako or Wu, "Wu, Misako do you read?" I asked it

'We read you Cole. Where are you we've been trying to call you for 36 hours and no one has responded' I heard Misako say through the com

"We were captured by the government and brought to the Mayors building I believe. Unfortunately, only 3 out of the 6 is coming home today" I told them, "I am the only one in good commission while Zane's systems are out and Jay is stabbed near the heart" 

'You mean you still haven't gotten my son back?' she asked 

"No. He along with Kai are still working with Greg" I responded 

'We're on our way. Try to stay out of sight' and then that was all she said before my com died. I sat next to Zane to see if I could wake him up, but nothing gives. 

"Let me guess you still don't know what to do" Jay asked a little annoyed 

"I don't to be honest. We have half of our team on their side and only you, me, and Zane on this team" I said a bit defeated 

"Cole you got to remember that Nya is on our side still not on Greg Berny's. Besides you were on his team with Zane and fought against us." Jay told me 

"Yeah and we thought we were doing the right thing. To protect the people of Ninjago from anything else, but I guess we were all double crossed at the end" I said 

"Hey Cole can I ask you a question?" Jay asked 

"That was a question" I teased 

"I have been wanting to talk to Nya about this for a while, but you are my best friend and I want to run it by you first" He explained 

"What is it" I asked getting a bit worried, "You aren't breaking up right"

"No it's not that. I mean I am in a happy place with Nya, but I want to go a little further. I want to have a baby with Nya" He finally said

I was a little shocked that Jay was the one asking and not Nya, but what can I tell ya he's Jay, "Jay are you sure having a baby with Nya is a good idea? I mean we live a pretty dangerous life. Do you really want to commit with this?" I asked him

"I think so. I been thinking about it for a while and I think that it could start a new opportunity for us. We could still fight in missions after the baby is born and all of that. Besides Nya and I have been married for a while now so it's not like it's a bad thing" He told me 

"Well it's Nya choice remember. But if she is ready then yeah I think it would be a great idea as long if I get to be the god father" I said with a grin

"We'll see" He said before a mini van parked right in the parking lot with two old folks getting out and running towards us

"Are you boys okay?" Wu asked once seeing Jay's position, "Cole you take Zane to the van while Misako and I take Jay"

We all speed walked to the back of the van and placed Zane on one  side and Jay on the other while I would sit between them. Wu closed the back doors and the van started to move. I knew that we would be back here some day, but next time we will have to use all force to stop not only Greg, but our friends too.
