"morning," shawn yawns, wrapping his arms around aria from the back, as she prepares breakfast for the two of them. "mm, something smells good." she lets out a small laugh, finishing to plate up the french toast, handing a plate to shawn.

"good morning," she says, leaning up and pecking his lips softly. "can we do something today?"

"let's go out for lunch," he suggests, sitting down at the bar table, opposite aria. "let's have a date."

"it's been a while since our last date," she smiles softly. "can we go to that italian place? you know, the one you took me to on our first date?"

"we can go anywhere, love," he grins, taking a bite of his french toast. "by the way, this is great french toast."

"thanks," she says with a small chuckle, taking a sip of her water. "can we go to see jane before though?"

"we can go see her straight after breakfast if you want," he suggests, making her nod. "i'll go to the gym after that."

"alright," she agrees, finishing her breakfast. "i'm gonna put a hoodie on or something," she says to him, as he nods, letting her walk off into the room again, where she pulls on one of shawns zip up hoodies, sliding on her trainers too. "you think i'll be okay with just this?"

"well, it isn't snowing," he says, nodding. "you'll be fine."

"shawn," she says gently, capturing his attention. "i'm sorry." shawn smiles sadly at her, pulling a shirt over his head, before walking over to her, and holding his arms out for a hug. she eagerly obliges, and burgs herself in shawns warmth, shutting her eyes.

"it's okay," he whispers. "i'm sorry too."

"no, i'm just sorry for always bringing it up. if you don't want me to bring it up anymore, i won't. i promise," she says to him, looking up from his chest.

"no, you're concerned, i should've understood that. but you're not gonna lose me anytime soon, aria. i will promise you that instead," she leans up, kissing him softly, feeling him smile under her lips. "i love you."

"i love you," she replies, letting go of the hug. "come on, let's go."
-
"hi jane," aria says warmly, hugging the red haired woman, as shawn smiles at the two of them. "how are you?"

"i'm good, thank you sweetheart," she responds. "so, i see shawn took my advice?"

"yes," he says, after aria pulls away from the hug. he hooks his arm around her waist, pulling her to his side. "i couldn't let her go."

"you kids want some coffee?" she says, smiling at the two of them, as they both nod, sitting on the bar. she pours out two mugs of steaming hot coffee, before handing the two white mugs to aria and shawn. jane goes off to serve others in the cafe, leaving aria and shawn to sit together and enjoy their coffee.

"andrew said you can come with us to the awards, so that means we're coming out as a couple in three weeks," he tells her gently, taking a sip of his coffee, and burning his tongue in the process. "ah, shit!"

"idiot," she chuckles, reaching over the bar and grabbing a sugar packet, handing it to shawn. "put it on the burn."

"sugar? are you serious?"

"it draws out the heat or something like that, my mum told me when i couldn't wait to drink my hot chocolate once," she grins. "so, three weeks?"

"yep," he says, emptying the sugar packet into his mouth. "we have plenty of time to figure out how to do it."

"i thought it was just a kiss on a red carpet?" she asks, slightly confused. "it isn't?"

"well it is, but you have to do it at the perfect time, so we basically need everyone's attention on us," he explains. "i saw this one guy, i've completely forgotten who, but he confirmed a relationship behind beyoncé when photos were being taken. who does that? of course all the attentions gonna be on beyoncé," aria giggles at his statement, as he grins, holding onto her hand. "we should wear wedding clothes."

"and then drive to vegas to get married?" she asks sarcastically. shawn takes this time to play a joke on her, and looks at her optimistically, pretending to debate her proposal. "oh my god, shawn, i'm kidding!" she laughs, slapping his arm.

"i know, i just wanted to play a joke on you," he chuckles, as she slaps his arm again. "ow!"

"don't play jokes like that then," she says, making him chuckle again. "god, you scared me."

"you're so funny when you get scared," he grins, making her roll her eyes playfully at him. "what?"

"nothing," she breathes out a chuckle, taking a sip of her coffee.

"after lunch, andrew's coming over. apparently he's in toronto, and wants to talk to us about the award show," she nods her head at shawn, who continues to explain their plan for the rest of the day. "you're okay with that, right?"

"yeah, of course, but is it okay if i do some work while he's there?"

"why don't we stay in today? and i'll order takeout sushi."

"okay," aria shrugs, finishing up her coffee. "sounds like a plan."
-
aria sighs yet again, as the dress she wears gets pinched at her waist, and pinned, and then released again, only to be pinched once more, and then pinned.

"no, this one just isn't working," she tells tiffany, shawns stylist, as shawn chuckles from his couch, zooming into aria with his phone. "stop!"

"alright, there's one more, but that's the last one i have with me," she sighs, standing up. "i think you're going to like this one." she walks over to the rail she brought with her, taking off the last dress, and walking back to aria. "it's grey, but that's fine, shawn will just have to change his suit to match."

it was a silk, floor length gown, that flowed down in one complete shade of grey, a v-neck, highlighting the breast area, and creating cleavage, with small, tiny spaghetti straps holding it up. it looked elegant, unique, yet simple, comfortable. aria fell in love at first sight.

"go try it on," tiff tells her, handing her the dress. she nods, rushing back into shawns room to get the dress over her.

and to her surprise, it fits like a glove; like it was made for her.

"woah," she hears from behind her. she turns around, swooping her hair over her shoulder, seeing shawn standing there, a speechless look on his face; completely and utterly stunned by her beauty. "you look- woah," he chuckles to himself, making her blush wildly, a small smile appearing over her lips. he strides forward, placing his hands on her hips, rubbing the silky material. "i truly am the luckiest man in the world."

"shawn," she grins, cupping his cheeks gently. "i love you."

"you look stunning, aria, not that you don't all the time, but woah, you're like an angel, baby," he breathes out a nervous chuckle, his cheeks flushing a soft red. "i love you more."

"so, this one?" he nods at her, pressing his lips delicately onto hers.

"for sure, but that little black one was-"

"nope," she says, pushing herself away from shawn. "i am not wearing a dress that shows half my ass."

"maybe we can keep that for our own benefit then," he grins, making aria flush wildly, before slapping his arm. "ow! that's the third time today!"

"well maybe if you shut your mouth, i won't slap you like that," she says sarcastically, before chuckling. "pass me a t-shirt, please," he nods in response, opening his closet, and taking out one of his merch long sleeves, handing it to aria.

"i'll go tell tiff you're having this one," he tells her softly. "aria, i can't wait till these awards now, i'm so ready to tell the world that i love you." the moment that shawn utters those words and walks out, aria completely and utterly feels happiness contain her.

she never wanted it to disappear.
