the sun rises outside their bedroom window; no blinds meaning the sudden sun is their wake up call. aria groans to herself, making shawn chuckle, as the two of them bury themselves under the sheets, trying to get away from the harsh light.

"i swear to fucking god we are buying blinds today," aria mutters, making shawn laugh.

"good morning to you too," he jokes sarcastically, tracing small patterns over her stomach.

"shhh," aria giggles, leaning back on shawns chest. "good morning."

"hmm," shawn hums in contentment, drumming his fingers against arias skin. "let's go on holiday baby. let's go to the bahamas."

"the bahamas? are you having a laugh?" aria sits up, holding the white sheets to her chest. "shawn? are you crazy?"

"what? you don't have uni, i don't have any shows or press, let's go to the bahamas darling," he says, placing his hand on her waist. "two weeks in the sun, just the two of us. say yes baby."

"fine," aria gives in with a small chuckle. "but only if you let me pay for my ticket."

"hmm, i'll think about it," he says, making aria hit him in the chest. shawn laughs, moving to lay down on her lap, making aria smile to herself, before running her fingers through his hair. "i'll tell andrew to move that producer to someone else. i think i'm gonna need someone else."

"shawn you don't have to-"

"no, i do," he cuts her off. "i didn't think about what it would've looked like to you. i'm sorry for that."

"it's okay," aria says softly, lying down next to him again. "don't worry about it anymore, i overreacted anyway. i didn't have to pester you about it and make you feel like shit about it."

"no, you're human, it affected you. i'm so sorry baby," he says to her, rubbing his hand on her arm. "i promise from now on that i will make sure that if some stupid articles come out, i will get them taken down and sorted out immediately."

"shawn," she says gently to him, bringing her hand to his bare chest. "seriously, don't worry. it's fine. now can we stop talking about this? i want to enjoy the morning with you."

"okay," he agrees. "let's book our flights and hotel then."

"you're actually crazy," she giggles, as shawn rolls out of bed, sliding a pair of boxers on, and handing aria his shirt to wear. "sometimes i question how i ended up with you."

"oh really?" he smirks, reaching down to get his laptop. "because i remember you getting drunk on my 20th birthday, kissing me, and then us hooking up," he chuckles. "and then the next morning, when we were laughing because it was only meant to be for one night, we got together."

"i still can't believe i got that drunk that night," she laughs softly. "it's honestly crazy how it took me getting drunk for both of us to confess our feelings, i still can't believe we liked each other for that long."

"hey, you hated me up until last year in february when i got you to meet daniel caesar," he says to her, shoving her arm lightly, before shoving a shirt over his head.

"shut up, you were annoying and i thought you were self conceited," aria blushes, rolling out of bed, and pulling a pair of fresh underwear on.

"well, do you still think i am?" he whispers, moving behind her, and placing his lips to the side of her face, making her cheeks flush even more than they already were.

"maybe a little," she jokes, making shawn gasp sarcastically. "i'm kidding!" she giggles. "i'm glad i started seeing a mental attraction to you."

"oh, you are?" shawn smirks widely, swaying aria from side to side. "you didn't find me physically attractive at all?"
