a few days after their rendezvous in the city of love, aria and shawn find themselves on a bus, taking a drive to berlin for another show. the two of them are sitting in the private room at the end of the bus, wanting a little bit of alone time from the communal area, to talk about their relationship, and general things they don't want others to over hear.
"where do you see yourself in five years?" shawn asks aria gently, tracing little patterns over her smooth shoulder, as she sits, nestled up to his side.
"hopefully successful, maybe married, but happy," she says to him, being completely and utterly certain. "i just want to be happy. that's all i want."
"that sounds like a great future," shawn responds, a small smile toying on his lips, as he thinks back to the ring he purchased just after him and aria got back together. "when do you want to get married?"
"well, anytime to be fair. i'm 18 now, and personally i think that if it feels right, it's valid," she spills, not even knowing about the plans shawns making in his mind. "i mean, get engaged, but not married for another few years at least." she snuggles closer to shawn. "what about you?"
"i want to get married soon, maybe have some kids in the near future," shawn says, making aria smile gently to herself. "how many kids do you want?"
"i want three," she says, making shawns eyes go wide. "i want one girl, and two boys. the two boys first and then the girl, so she'll have three of her best friends to protect her."
"that's sweet," shawn grins, leaning down to kiss her forehead.
"how many do you want?"
"three too," he agrees with her. "but i want three girls to spoil rotten, maybe two girls and one boy if it comes down to it," aria lets out a small giggle, shutting her eyes briefly. "god, i can't wait to have kids."
"would you be excited if i was pregnant?"
"of course aria," shawn says to her. "i'd be over the moon. i guess when we had the scare, i was only worried because of the sudden news and unplanned nature of things. but i would've been happy."
"oh," she says, as shawn smiles sadly down at her, looking at her peaceful composure. "let's get married, shawn. in four years, and have three kids, and go live in a massive house in london."
"london? why london?" he questions with a small laugh.
"i don't know, i just have always wanted to live in london. why not start a family there?"
"okay, we'll move to london then," he confirms. "we'll get married, and have three kids, then grow old together and see our grandkids grow up while we spend our days enjoying the world."
