-Third person P.O.V-

"Hey, is she gonna be ok?"

"Who's that, Miss Murphy?"

"You kids aren't supposed to be here!"

Voices around Caroline entered her mind. She woke up with a sprung, but the nurse kept her down. The kids that were around her ran away from fright.

"Young girl, you must have more rest!" The nurse, Ms. Murphy, exclaimed.

"What am I doing here?" Caroline asked.

"You don't remember, hon? You came here at this orphanage bleeding by yourself! Where are your mom and dad?!" The nurse said even louder.

"Mommy?Daddy?" Caroline shook her head. "I don't remember..."

The nurse sighed and took the wet towel that was on Caroline's head and walked towards the door.

"I'mma get you breakfast real quick, ok?" She raised her eyebrows then excited to the kitchen.

Caroline rubbed her eyes and looked around the room. It was a bit dirty. Used bandages were piled up in the trashcan, the sink seemed as though it was clogged, blood was on the floor around her...wait.

Why is there blood...? She thought.

The pain finally got into Caroline's shoulder.

"AHH!" Caroline clutched her bandaged shoudler.

"Aden...Aden are you here?" She whispered. He didn't answer. Caroline began to cry.

"Aden! Please don't leave me you're my only friend please-"

Yeah, yeah, stop your whining, kid.

"Aden!" Caroline gasped in happiness.

Got bad news for ya, kid, I'm gonna have to leave.

"What? Why?"

I had fun with ya. See you never!

Caroline's body began to shake, then with a gasp, a black smoke escaped through her mouth and into the air.

Now if I just go through the-AH!

"AH!" Caroline also screamed in pain.

Aden and Caroline's skin began to burn, particularly their back.

"Hey girl, are you alright in there?" Ms. Murphy knocked on the door.

Shit!

Aden entered back into Caroline's body in an instant.

"I'm coming in..." The door creaked open. She came in with a tray full of buttered bread and milk. When she saw Caroline wrapped up tightly in a fetal position, she almost dropped the food!

"Hon! What's the matter?!" She came over. Caroline wiped her tears from her burned cheek.

"Aden tried leaving me!" Caroline hugged the nurse. She was startled for a moment, but she then carassed Caroline's thick brown hair.

"Shhh...you had enough chit chat for today. Now eat your breakfast before it gets cold, ok?" The nurse took the tray and gave it to her.

"And who's this Aden?" She asked.

"My frimend" Caroline replied as she stuffed her mouth.

"Where is this friend?" It's probably Nathan again the nurse thought.

Caroline took a huge gulp.

"In here." She pointed at her head.

"Ahh...an imaginary friend, eh?" The nurse laughed.

"He's not imaginary! He's real!" Caroline shouted.

Caroline, you're acting like an idiot right now... Aden told her.

"Hey! I'm not an idiot" Caroline retorted.

"Who are you talking to?" The nurse questioned.

Yeah, you are.

"You're an idiot!"

The nurse gasped. "How dare you! You're one of the naughty kids, aren't cha?"
