" No! Please, I'll do anything!"
Carrie stood and watched the scarlet haired boy stumble across the aging wood. His tattoo covered arms were now covered in dried blood. Infront of him stood a tall dark figure, too blurry for Carrie to see. It wavered around a young girl that was sleeping on a small bed.
"T-take me instead! Please!" The young boy begged on his bloody knees. The dark figure cackled at his desperation, showing it's hideous rotting teeth.
"Very well..." The figure lunged towards the boy instantly and gripped his neck. Carrie watched in horror.
"What the hell is going on?!" Carrie screamed, but no one seemed to notice her. Then suddenly, a red light began to burn the boy's eyes and mouth. After the screaming, the dark figure dropped him, creating a loud thud on the aging wood. His body layed emotionless. The figure looked at his hand, a small blue orb hovering over the figure's boney hands. "Welcome to hell." It whispered.
Then out of the blue, the figure turned his gazed at Carrie, his horrid smile covering half of his face.
"No!" Carrie fell on her back.
"NOOOOOO"
~~~
"NOOOOOOOO!" Carrie jolted up, her body drenched in sweat. What the hell... She checked the time: 6:32 a.m, Two hours until Brandy picks her up for her schooling.
"Aden, you up yet?" She whispered.
You guessed it. The voice echoed inside her head.
Yeah.
It's different...Do you know that boy?
Aden hesitated.
...I do.
What about the girl?
Aden's body began to shiver, and Caroline felt it.
Is something-
Nevermind about my memories! You, um... gotta get ready for your tutoring or some shit. Aden closed the communication door. Inside Caroline's head, Aden had his "own" room. Caroline can't access it without Aden's permission.
Inside the room, Aden slumped down. He looked at himself, his black smokey body. But slowly, his smokey skin began to shed off, showing his once red hair and tattoo covered arms. Why did Aden not show his true form to Caroline? Simply, he didn't want to. He felt ashamed to reveal his real form because that body was the body who took his sister's life.
Grace...
