"All passengers buckle up! The aircraft will be flying in 5 minutes! Please remember to turn off your electronics, and have a good flight!" The blonde stewardesses shined a smile at Caroline. Her expression suddenly changed, giving a mini heart attack to Caroline when she walked over to her seat.
I didn't do anything! Caroline thought.
She glanced outside the window, avoiding eye contact from the stewardess. She took a peek and saw her hand reaching towards her.
Don't be such a pussy. She didn't come over for you anyways. A voiced echoed.
Wha--?
"Sorry hon, but no electronics allowed." The stewardess placed her hand on the little boy's shoulder. He was so into the game that he didn't even notice her until she gently lowered his Nintendo. He blushed in embarrassment.
He closed his nintendo and placed it on his side. She whispered 'Thank you' and walked away.
"Hey, Miss." The boy suddenly said. His head was turned to Caroline, but she was gazing outside the window. She watched the men filling the plane with gasoline.
"Hey, Miss!" The boy poked Caroline's arm.
"W-what?" She stared at him, now realizing how handsome the boy was at his age. About 9 or 10 years old? He could kill the girls with those beautiful green eyes!
"How come we gotta turn off our electronics?" He turned his head like a confused puppy.
"Our electronics? W-well, uhh..."
Why do we have to turn off our electronics? Caroline scratched her head.
"Um--"
"My brother told me that our heads' ll explode if we turn em' on during take off! "
"Explode? Now, that's just crazy talk!" She laughed weakly.
Wait, is he fucking serious? Aden questioned.
You don't know either?! Caroline screamed back. You told me you traveled around the world!
I didnt need a plane! I could fly, dumbass!
Caroline felt the plane shaking, so she looked outside and saw the scene suddenly moving.
Ohhh crap, its starting! Caroline looked ahead and grabbed onto the seats' arm rests.
"He also told me that the plane will crash if I kept this on." He cheerfully smiled as he pointed at his Nintendo... that he turned on.
Caroline felt her heart beat faster and faster as the air around her began to change.
