-Third Person P.O.V-

The happy couple (particularly the wife) proceed on the "old" Orphanage down the street. Erika couldn't stop questioning whether they should get a boy or girl which made Liam annoyed, but in the inside he was happy that they were going to have a kid!

"Oh my goodness, should we get a girl? Ooh! I'm so excited to dress her up in a little dress and go shopping! Well, if she's into that type of stuff hehe...Maybe a boy? You could teach him how to shoot your bb gun!"

"Hon, I don't think that's a good idea-"

"OH maybe we could go to the mall and-"

The car made a sudden break.

"Well, here we are!" Liam got out of the car and headed past the Orphanage's gate.

"L-Liam! Wait for me!" Erika had a hard time taking off her seatbelt. When she finally did, she ran out of the car (almost tripping) and ran slower (which came to a walk) when coming closer to the main entrance.

"Act normal so the kids won't get scared." Liam teased.

"Oh, shutup!" She slapped his arm.

Before Liam even knocked the door, an old lady already opened it.

"Oh, yes, hello!"

"Oh, uh-"

"Well, come right in!" The old lady gestured them to come inside.

As the couple walked in, Liam noticed how dirty the place was. Cobwebs in the corner, mice holes next to the counter, etc.

"So when was this orphanage built, miss...?" Erika questioned.

"...Edwards. But you can call me Nancy, deary. This use to be a church a long time ago..." Nancy pointed at the old paintings above the wall. "Until the priest died then everybody thought he was murdered, but the police said he fell from the stairs, nothing to worry haha..." She scratched her nose.

"Oook..." Liam raised his eyebrows and leaned towards his wife's ear. "Weeiird..." He whispered but still kept a smile.

"Shutup!" Erika whisperee back as she slapped his chest.

"And then," Nancy continued, "One of the sisters that use to work here made this an orphanage since there were a lot of homeless kids running down the street before."

An awkward silence began to rise.

"Well, enough with the chit chat. We have about 102 kids living in this orphanages with different races/enthinicities..." Nancy began speaking.

"We give them the best rooms as possible, toys-"

"And food, I suppose!" A woman walked into the room.

"And you are?" Erika asked.

"Murphy. Natalie Murphy." The middle aged woman gave her hand.

"The cook and the nurse. There's not much employees that want to take the job here haha..." Nancy weakly laughed.

Erika turned to Liam. "So...what kid should we get, huh? 12, 13 years old? Younger? I can't think this is so exciting!" She jumped up and down.

"Um, if you don't mind me interrupting,  but I do suggest taking a young girl, specifically a sweet 10 year old?" Miss Murphy pointed out. Nancy looked at her with a horrified expression and took her arm.

"Excuse us for a moment." She dragged her towards the empty hall which leads to the Kitchen.

"You don't mean Caroline? She's a bit...you know...violent-ish for them?" Nancy whispered. Liam cocked his eyebrows, but Nancy smiled to gesture that everything was OK.

"I know she is, but we need her out of here! She's too violent for the kids!" Murphy pointed out. Nancy nodded.

"I don't know...but its the only chance to get the kids even safer, right?"

"Right."

Nancy dragged her back with a smile. Liam and Erika knew something was wrong here, but they kept a straight face.

"As I was saying, Caroline, an adorable 10 year old girl, is the best we got!" Nancy lied.

"Yeah! But she's a bit uh..." Murphy added.

"A bit what?" Liam questioned.

"A bit..." She raised her voice "Uhh...weird?"

Awkward silence.

"Uh..." Liam took Erika to a corner to talk about it.

"B-but, she's free of charge! Regular usually costs $120!" Nancy yelled.

Erika looked at Liam, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "Free of charge, Liam! Can this day get any better?"

"I don't know, Erika... What if she's not good enough for us?"

"Good enough? Every child is good enough! No matter how they look or act, I would still love them! Would you?" Erika looked deeply in his eyes.

Liam rolled his eyes and sighed. "Alright." He walked back to the counter where Nancy and Natalie were. "We'll care for her."

The two women made an enormous smile. "Great! All you need is to fill out these paper works, and off she goes!" Nancy gave them a blue file.

"I'll get Caroline for you, Miss, uh-"

"Oh! I realize we never evem introduced ourselves! How stupid of me...I'm Erika and this is Liam." Erika smiled.

"Ok, I'm going to grab Caroline in a mo'." Natalie ran inside the kitchen. "Whoops!" She nervously laughed and ran towards the staircase.

"Caroline, dear!"
