- Millie -"He's been giving you flowers?!" Noah said, louder than intended.
"Yes but shhh!" Millie hushed her friend. They had been talking about the curly haired boy that had been giving her flowers everyday for the past week now.
Millie loved the flowers. But if her mother found out she had been hiding white roses under her bed for the past week, she'd get in huge trouble. And if her mother found out those flowers could have been given to her by a boy? Millie doesn't even wanna know what her mother would do.
"And you said he has curly dark hair?" Noah asked, remembering the vague description of the boy that Millie had given him.
Millie huffed, "Why does this matter?"
"Because!" Noah smirked at Millie, "Maybe he's hot."
"What?! No! Ew... gross."
Noah laughed at Millie's cringe facial expression and shook his head. "I'm starting to think Sadie isn't the gay one."
Millie rolled her eyes, walking in front of her locker. When she took her books out, she turned around and saw Sadie pass by her. I have to talk to her. She thought. Millie grabbed Sadie by the hand and pulled her close.
"What do you want?" Sadie said with an rude tone in her voice.
"To be friends." Millie sighed, "I miss you. Please forgive me."
Sadie pulled her hand away from Millie and crossed her arms. "How could I forgive you? You judged my boyfriend without even knowing him!"
"Then let me fix it." Millie said. She thought about how she could fix it. Without thinking it twice, she said the first thing that came into her mind, "Let me meet him!" And then she regretted it.
Sadie frowned for a second then her face softened. She smiled and nodded, "... Fine. Him, his friends and I are meeting up at a party. I guess you can come."
Millie mentally face palmed herself. A party?! I hate parties! But she had to fix things with her friend. So she nodded and replied, "Okay! Great!" She fake smiled, trying to make it as believable as possible.
"Hey!" Noah pouted, "How about me?"
"Of course you can come." Sadie ruffled Noah's hair and they all walked to class together
