Three weeks later after our honeymoon, I became real sick. I was so dink I could barely get out of bed. "Are you okay?" I just looked at James when he asked me that.
He knew I wasn't okay. "Forget this. I'm calling my mom real quick." He walks out of the bedroom and calls his mom. Not even five minutes and she was here. She picked up the kids and left.
James came back into the room, and picked me up and carried me to the truck. He ran to the drivers side, and cranked up the truck. He backed up and hauled butt to the hospital. Before we got there, he called them so that they would have a room ready by the time I got there.
Once we arrived at the hospital, they already had the room ready for me. They took me into the room and checked my vitals. They told me that my blood pressure was through the roof. They started doing a bunch of other test on me to see if anything else was going on.
The doctor came back and said "Ma'am, did you know that you are almost a month pregnant?" I looked at James, then looked back at the doctor. My eyes got real big, and my mouth dropped. I had two almost 6 year olds, and a 6 month old, now apparently we are adding another kid to the bunch.
I just started crying. I couldn't tell if they were tears of joy, or if I was just scared not knowing what was going to happen.
James then pulled me into a tight hug and didn't let me go. I lost it. I just sat there, on the hospital bed crying on James's shoulder hugging him.
They told me that I was severely dehydrated because I haven't had anything to drink in a few days. They got me back and hydrated. The doctor walked back in to talk to us. "You need to be put on bed rest for about a month. I prefer you say with someone that is always home. After a month you can come back for a check up just to make sure everything is alright."
We get all settled and get into the car, and we head to the house to pack my bag. "I think Mrs. Susan's house is my best bet. Now that you have a job, and since my mom has a job, y'all will be gone most of the day. Mrs. Susan doesn't have a job so I will stay with her.
We get into our house and James kisses my forehead. "Everything will be okay baby. I love you forever and always." We get my bag packed, then we head out to the car. We get in and hold hands to his moms house.
