The next day, we are going over to James's house to tell his mom the news. We wake up, make breakfast and get dressed. We get the kids fed and clothed and ourselves fed and clothed, and out the door we go.
We arrive at James's house and his mom is eating breakfast. We walk inside and the kids start running over to her. "Well?" His mom asked. "It's a Girl."
She gets this sparkle in her eyes and a big grin on her face. She didn't care what it was as long as it was healthy she didn't care. She got up from her kitchen table and ran to us to give us a hug. While she was hugging us, the baby started kicking.
I'm hugging her, and I start feeling something down my leg. "Oh my gosh, my water broke." Mrs. Susan took the kids to my moms house, while they got the bag and took me to the hospital.
They rushed me into the delivery room and put me on a bed. The doctor came in and told us that it was going to be a while because I wasn't dilated far enough.
After several hours, I was finally dilated far enough. They then gave me my epidural. The doctor folds the sheet back so she can do her job. "Okay during this contraction, your going to have to push." When this contraction came, I pushed.
Three pushes later, my beautiful baby girl was here. When they pulled her out, they had to rush her into the NICU. She wasn't breathing. They quickly got her on oxygen and put her in an incubator.
After a couple of hours, they wheeled me in to go see her. They came in and told us that we were able to touch her, but they don't know if she's going to make it.
I didn't cry. I was upset, but I knew she was going to fight to live. I had Faith. "Faith" was the only thing I could say. James looked at me with confusion. "I have faith that she will make it."
James kissed me on the forehead. "That's her name. Faith Lynn Hunter." James looked at me and smiled, "I love that name."
Something happened while we were in my room. Faith Lynn was now healed. They took her off of oxygen and she was breathing on her own. They took her in the room with us, and let me hold her for skin to skin contact. "I told you, you just got to have faith."
