Chapter 95

   That next morning,I crawled out of bed,and James and the twins were gone. I walked downstairs, and James was holding Presley,and Mrs Susan was holding Carson. They were both eating breakfast. I sat down at the table, and James grabbed the twins and put them in the play pen. "Did you sleep good Grace?" Mrs Susan asked. "Yes ma'am. I needed that sleep." "I know you did." James kissed my head, "Glad you had a good nights sleep." "Thanks for taking care of the babies last night." "Your welcome baby."
   James brought me a plate, and I started eating. As soon as I started eating, the babies started crying. About three minutes after they started crying, Mrs Susan looked at me. "Grace, your going to need to change your shirt." I looked down, and my boobs were leaking. "Ugghhh. This has to be the day." "It could be worse." Mrs Susan said. "Oh it is worse."
   Mrs Susan looked at me confused. "What do you mean?" James pulled a chair by me, and sat down. "Well usually while I breast feed, I don't have a period. Well I have one now." "Are you hurting or anything from it?" "I've got bad cramps right now, but that's normal for me. Just wish I didn't have a period." "Why don't you get put on Birth Control?" "I'm going to the doctor today, I'm going to ask her about it." "Okay."
"James can you bring me one of the babies please?" "Sure thing baby." He brought me Carson. I latched Carson on, then finished my breakfast. Just then there was a knock on the door. I went to get up, then Mrs Susan jumped up. "I'll get the door. You stay here." Mrs Susan opened the door, it was Chelsea.
Chelsea had been crying. I jumped up, and walked over to her. "What's wrong Chels?" "I-I lost the baby." I pulled her into a tight hug. "When did you find out?" "Earlier this morning." "Chelsea I'm so sorry." Chelsea pulled back from our hug, and wiped her tears. "It's okay. I'm going to try again." "Thats the spirit. Now do you want to hang out today? And maybe the rest of the week?" "Yeah. That will be great."
   "Umm Grace?" "Yeah Chels?" "You uh- you need to change your shirt." I sighed. "I know." I unlatched Carson from me, and handed her to Chelsea. "James can you bring me Presley?" "Yeah baby." He brought me Presley, and I latched her on. "Thanks babe." "Cmon Chels. Let's go get ready." "Okay."
   I carried Presley upstairs, and Chelsea followed. We walked into James's room, and Chelsea sat on the bed. I unlatched Presley, and handed her to Chelsea. "So what are we doing today?" "Well I have a doctors appointment in a little bit, then we will go do some fun stuff." "Are you going to tell me what we're doing?" "Nope. It's a surprise." I changed clothes, then grabbed Presley and latched her back on.
"You ready?" Chelsea shook her head yeah. I put the twins in their car seats, then loaded them into the car. I gave James and Mrs Susan a hug bye, then we left. I pulled into the doctors office, and we got out and grabbed the car seats. "Thanks for carrying one of them." "No problem. They are my niece, and nephew. I'll do anything for them. And you." "Your the best Chelsea."
We walked inside, and I signed in, and Katie was working. "Ahh there are them beautiful babies and their beautiful momma." "Thank you Katie." "Do I get to hold one today?" "Yes ma'am!" I grabbed Carson out of his car seat, and handed him to her. "Awe how sweet." I handed her his blanket, and she grabbed it.
   I set the car seat behind the desk, and then the doctor called me back. "Cmon Chelsea." We walked back into the room, and I sat on the table. "Okay Grace, how have you been doing?" "Ehh." "This is just a check up right?" "Yeah." "So how has your body been since birth?" "Good just the usually, leaky boobs, stress, depression, anxiety." "Anything new?" "Yes! I've never had periods while breast feeding and now I have one and I just want to see if I can get put on birth control after breast feeding." "Yes. So when was your last period?" "Well I'm on it now. I just started this morning. My last one was before I got pregnant." "Okay."
   After the appointment, we walked out of the doctors office and we stopped at the front desk to get Carson. When we walked over to Katie, Carson was fast asleep cuddled up in his blanket. "There's mamas baby boy." "This is the sweetest little boy ever. He's so quiet and calm." "Yeah. He's the good one." Katie and Chelsea laughed. I grabbed Carson, and put him in his car seat then we left.
