Chapter 105

   James then began to kiss me while grabbing my breast. He left my lips, and went to my neck. He left a hickey then went to one of my breast. Left any other hickey, then went to the other breast. Two hours passed, and James had left hickeys all over my neck, breast, and stomach. We got up and got dressed, and my phone started ringing. I answered it, "Hello?" "Grace, it's Brooklyn. Can you get home fast?" "What's wrong?" "I need you." "Is it my kids?" "No." "Is it Tenley?" "Grace just get here as fast as you can." "I'm on my way."
   I ran upstairs and began to pack all of our stuff. James ran in there, "Grace what's wrong? Why are you packing our stuff?" "I don't know. Brooklyn needs me back at home now. Somethings wrong and she won't tell me." "Is it the kids." "No." "Is it Tenley?" "I don't know James. I don't know."
   Me and James got the truck loaded, we got in and went to the rental office. We explained the situation and turned in the key and stuff. We got back into the truck and hauled butt. "I hope  everything is okay." "Me too baby. Me too." After 15 hours with hardly any stops, we made it to moms house. We got out and went inside. "I'm calling Brooke." "Hello?" "Hey Grace. Where are you?" "I'm at moms house." "Can you come to the hospital?" "Yeah. Why are you at the hospital." "Just hurry."
I ran inside to talk to mom and James. "Hey honey how was the trip? Why are y'all back so early?" "No time to talk. I'm going to the hospital. I'll be back later." "Do I need to come with you baby?" "No. Y'all just stay here." I ran out to the truck and hauled butt to the hospital. Once I got there, I ran inside to find Brooklyn. "Hey I'm at the hospital where are you?" "I'm in room 415." "Got it." I got on the elevator and then ran to room 415. When I walked into the room, Brooklyn was laying in the hospital bed. I walked over and gave her a hug. "What's wrong? Are you okay? Is Tenley okay?" "I'm scared." "What's wrong?" "I fell earlier and something wasn't right so I came here and now I'm fixing to have a baby. Grace I'm scared." "Okay, where is Jake?" "Jake is at work. They won't let him take off." "That's why I called you. I'm sorry Grace." "Hey. Don't be sorry. I'm here ain't I. I'm just glad everything is okay."
   Just then the doctor walked in, "Are you ready to have a baby?" "Yeah." The doctor pulled s chair over, and lifted the sheet. Brooklyn looked at me. "Hey. Everything is going to be okay. I'm here." Brooklyn shook her head. "Okay. Your going to have to start pushing." Brooklyn took a deep breath. She started pushing, "Ahhh." Brooklyn laid back in the bed taking deep breaths. "Come one Brooklyn. Your doing amazing. Two more." Brooklyn began to push for the second time. "Ahh." "Again, again. I can see the head." Brooklyn have it one more push. "Ahhhh." The doctor held the baby girl in his arms. Brooklyn laid back in the bed, breathing really heavily. "Brooklyn she is beautiful. You did a great job. I'm so proud of you." They cleaned up Tenley and brought her back to Brooklyn for some skin to skin.
   "Thank you Grace. I wouldn't have been able to do this by myself." "Hey. Anytime. That's what best friends are for. Now why don't you take a nap." Brooklyn shook her head and went to sleep. I walked out of the room, and called James. "Hey babe." "Hey baby. Is everything okay?" "Yep. Mom and Tenley are doing just fine. She's beautiful." "She had her?" "Yep! Jake wasn't able to come home so she needed me to help her." "Well that's understandable." "Yeah. He's got another month left until he's able to come home."
   "Really?" "Yeah. So they are going to be using FaceTime for a good while until he comes home." "Yeah." "James?" "Yeah baby?" "Do you mind keeping the kids until I get back? I'm going to be staying with Brooklyn until Jake gets back because I know how it feels." "Right. You take care of her. I've got the kids!" "Thank you babe. Hey can you bring the twins down here?" "Yeah baby." "Thank you." I hung up the phone and walked back into the room. I sat down on the couch, and then a nurse walked in.
   "Oh I didn't know she was asleep." "Yeah. Your good." "Okay." "I just need the baby." "Okay." I grabbed Tenley off of Brooklyn's chest, and handed her to the nurse. "Thank you." The nurse walked out with Tenley. A few minutes later, the Nurse brought her back dressed, and wrapped in a blanket. "Do you want her since mom is asleep?" "Yes." The nurse handed me Tenley, and then she walked out.
   A couple minutes later, James walked in with the babies. "Hey baby. Look at her." "Hey. She's beautiful ain't she?" "Can I hold her?" "Yeah." James sat beside me, and I handed him Tenley. I grabbed Carson out of his car seat, "Hey man. Mommy missed you." I pulled my shirt up, and latched him on.
   A few minutes later, Brooklyn woke up. "Where is Tenley?" "James has her." "Oh. Hey James." "Hey Brooklyn. You did a good job. She's beautiful." "Thank you." "Here you go." said James while handing Tenley to Brooklyn.
