Chapter 25 - Scared

Zayn's P.O.V.

" Marco." It was Niall's turn since he got caught by Louis.

" Polo." Michael yelled from beside me.

I kept an eye on Julie just to make sure she was close behind.

She was in front of Louis and Louis being the asshole he is, pushed her towards Niall.

Niall jumped on her making her fall backwards into the water.

She was still under water after what seemed like eternity.

I pushed whoever was in my way and went under and got her back up. Her eyes were closed and it seemed as if she wasn't breathing.

" SHE'S NOT BREATHING!" I yelled.

" Hurry help her out!" Liam yelled.

They helped me carry her down onto the grass.

I placed two fingers on her neck but I found no pulse.

" Does anybody know how to perform CPR?" Lucy asked.

" I do." Niall said.

" There's no way I'm letting him perform CPR on her." I said.

" FOR GOD'S SAKE SHE'S DYING!" Louis yelled and pushed me back.

Niall opened her mouth and started to blow into it.

He pushed at her chest a couple of times and then repeated it again.

" It's not working." Niall said his eyes teary.

" NO, IT HAS TO WORK, TRY HARDER!" I yelled crying.

" Zayn calm down." Liam said.

" SHE'S DYING AND YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN?!" I yelled again.

I looked over at Lucy who looked like she was about to pass out any minute.

Niall did it once more and Julie began to cough out water.

I pushed Louis out the way and I got down beside her.

She kept coughing so I helped her sit up.

"YOU STOPPED BREATHING, YOU STOPPED BREATHING." I hugged her tightly.

" It's okay, I'm fine." She said.

" Your alive." Lucy said between tears.

I moved out the way and let them hug.

She got up slowly with my help.

" I don't know what I would've done if you died." I hugged her again.

" Was it really that bad?" She asked.

She looked around to see our expressions.

Then she looked back at me.

" It's okay." She wiped my tears with her finger.

" Niall saved you." Louis said from beside me.

She turned around and walked towards Niall.

" Niall is that true?" She asked him.

He nodded his eyes still red.

She wrapped both of her arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around her waist and they hugged tightly.

" Thank you." She said while still hugging him.

" For you I'd do it anytime." He told her.

I tried taking a step forward but Louis placed his arm in front of me that prevented me from getting close to them.
