"Pit?" I whispered, putting my hand up to my mouth. "What're you doing?"
He didn't say anything, just began walking towards me, his eyes glaring at me as if he wish he could kill me a thousand times. I watched as he got closer, staring at the gun that was still pointed at my chest.
I looked back into his eyes, and as he finally got close enough to me, I whispered, "why?"
He still didn't answer, just put the gun barrel onto my chest and kept walking, pushing me backwards. He stopped when I reached the middle of the room, but pushed the gun barrel harder into my chest until I stumbled backwards. I shook my head at him, tears running down my face.
"Oh Chloe," Ace said from right behind me. I didn't even turn around, because I didn't want to look at him. I just shut my eyes, regretting not telling anyone where I was going. "Poor, sweet little Chloe. Betrayed by someone she trusted, even though he did try and kill her. How many tines? Once? Twice? Doesn't matter. Because now, he'll finally be able to do what he tried to."
"He wouldn't kill me," I gritted out, praying that it was true.
"No?" Ace was directly behind me now. I could feel him brushing up against me. I shook my head no, making it look like I truly believed he wouldn't. "Would you like to test that theory?"
When I didn't answer, he chuckled. "Thought so. It's only a matter of time before Sebastian realizes you're gone and comes looking for you. Did you delete the text Pit sent you? About where to go? I sure hope not. But if you did that's okay. He can always send another one so that they'll know where you are. And when they get here, they'll die. They'll all die. And it will all be your fault because you went off by yourself."
Tears poured down my face faster now, because what he said was true. If I had just told someone, I wouldn't be in this mess, and Sebastian nor the others wouldn't be walking in here blindly, not knowing that they're going to die.
"But in the meantime, we can have a little fun, if you want," He said, whispering in my ear.
"No thanks," I snapped back.
Ace put his hand on my head, slowly running his fingers through my hair. He grabbed a fistful of it, slowly tightening his grip till tears formed in my eyes.
"Fine," he said, releasing my hair. "Strip."
"What?" I asked. I looked over my shoulder at him, giving him a look that said he was crazy. "No!"
"I said, strip. Do I really need to repeat myself?"
I shrugged, watching his face go from cool to angry. "I don't know and I don't care," I replied, "but I said no. I'm not stripping."
"Are you really testing me?" His voice sounded more like a growl, and I knew I probably should stop before he just goes ahead and kills me. I didn't answer, but watched him out of he corner of my eye.
He walked around and stopped in front of me, lifting his hand up and taking a hold of my chin. "I'm not going to tell you again. I, said, strip. If you don't do it this time, I will get my men to do it for you. And it won't be pretty if they do."
I just stared at him, yanking my chin out of his hand when his grip got tighter. It was definitely going to leave bruises later. I rubbed my jaw, glaring at him.
"Fine," he said, motioning two men to come towards me. "Do it for her."
I shook my head, repeatedly saying no while backing up. They both lunged for me, each one grabbing an arm and yanking me back to the middle of the warehouse. They roughly grabbed my shirt, trying to push it over my head.
"No! Stop!" I yelled. "Stop! Don't be so rough!"
"I told you, Chloe, that this would happen if you didn't listen," Ace said, watching the whole thing with a smirk on his face.
I managed to yank one arm away from the guy and hit him in the face. I knew I fucked up the second I did it. I watched as the look in his eyes turned murderous. He shoved me to the ground, my face hitting the concrete along with my stomach. Terror raced through me when all I could think about was my baby. The other dude had let go of my other arm right when I got shoved, so I hit my arm and shoulder hard on the ground too. I wrapped my arms around my stomach, terrified.
"Wait! Wait!" I screamed when I seen the guy lift his leg up, about to kick me. Ace held his hand out, telling the guy to stop, and the guy slowly put his leg down.
"What?" Ace sneered.
"My baby," I gasped out. "I hit my stomach, my baby, please."
The look on Aces face was one of pure shock, and the one on Pits was pure anger. "Baby?" Ace asked.
I shook my head, tightening my arms around my stomach slightly. "I hit my stomach," I said, looking up at him, "please. Please make sure he's okay."
Ace nodded, chewing on his bottom lip. I could see that me saying I was pregnant completely threw him off guard, probably put a notch in his plan.
"Blake!" Ace shouted. As a man stepped forward, Ace slightly turned towards him. "Take her to Dr. Howard. But I want you there the whole time, and I want her handcuffed to the bed."
"Yes sir," Blake replied, walking towards me, and lifting me up. Surprisingly, he did it gently. I expected him to be rough. "Please don't try anything," he said under his breath. I nodded, this time staying true to my word.
