We found Paedro in the kitchen, stuffing his face with a honey bun. I personally thought those nasty, gooey things were disgusting. He raised an eyebrow at Chloe, watching as she jumped on the kitchen counter to sit.

"No," was all she said, turning her head and glaring at me. I held my hands up in mock surrender.

"So," Paedro said, swallowing the last bit of his honey bun. "Aubrianna was the one who bought all of your clothes. Some are all fancy and shit, and others are regular shorts, jeans, t-shirts, and a couple of hoodies. Why she bought hoodies in the middle of summer? Who knows. But she said you'd like them all so if you hate them, take it out on her."

"Who's Aubrianna?" Chloe asked, placing her hands underneath her thighs and swinging her legs back and forth. I walked over to where Chloe was and leaned against the counter beside her.

"My girlfriend," Paedro said, his cheeks turning a light shade of pink.

"Oooohhh Paedro has a girlfrienndddd," Chloe said in a really annoying voice.

"Paedro has a girlfriend," he mocked, flipping her off.

"You'll have to sleep in my room until your new bed that I ordered comes in." I said to Chloe.

She scrunched her face up, and I smiled at her. I was glad she didn't pop off, because I really didn't feel like fighting with her at the moment.

"She can stay in my room." Paedro said, opening another honey bun.

"I don't think so," I said, shutting that idea down real fast.

Paedro stared at me, looking at me like I was dumb.

"I meant, Chloe can stay in my room, and I could sleep over at Aubriannas house. That way you wont be kicked out of your room, and no one will have to sleep on that extremely uncomfortable couch."

I nodded my head, reminding myself to get a new couch also.

"Is there any updates on Ghost?" Chloe asked.

"Last I heard, he wasn't doing good at all," Paedro said with a mouth full of food.

"How bad are we talking?" I asked.

"He's lost a lot of blood. I was talking to the doctor yesterday and he was saying how Ghost has a O- blood type, and that's extremely rare. He said that he put in an order for some but it will take a while before they get it."

"I can't afford to lose one more man. I'll only have three left, meaning that you won't be able to go out unless I'm with you, Chloe. Ace could jump out and kill you at any moment."

Chloe looked sad, and I could see the tears forming in her eyes. I looked at Paedro, confused. I couldn't find a reason for her to cry.

"I feel like this is my fault," she whispered.

"What's your fault?" Paedro asked.

"Everything. If I hadn't been kidnapped by Ace or a part of your deal, then non of this would have happened. I don't even understand why I was the one he chose to kidnap."

"Just because Ace took you doesn't mean you're the reason Ghost is dying. This is his job. He knew what he was getting himself in to when he wanted in all of this. He was here to protect me and to protect others, and he did just that. No one deserves to die. Not Sam, Gunner, 4 Shot, no one. But they knew that one day, this might could happen. It kills me knowing that there's not a way that I can keep them from dying. But there's nothing that I can do. They've done their job and I'm thankful for that. So there's no need for you to cry, because none of this was your fault."

"It's true," Paedro said, walking up to her and rubbing her arm in comfort. She nodded, reaching up and wiping away the tears that had fell.

"Thank you guys," She said, sniffling. "I'm still sorry that your friends have died. When my little brother died, I thought the whole world was ending."

"I didn't know you had a little brother," I said.

She never brought him up when we were in class together.

She shrugged. "It's not something you talk about with the biggest man hoe in school."

She laughed, and I laughed too, but it hurt. Little did she know...

"True," I said, going along with it.

"Does anyone want a honey bun?" Paedro asked, grabbing another one out of the box.

"You eat those things way too much," Chloe said, jumping down from the counter.

"I do not!"

"Really? How many of those have you had today?"

She raised her eyebrow and put her hands on her hips, waiting for an answer. I smirked because she was right. He's addicted to those things. Paedro just stared at her before throwing the honey bun back in the box.

"Shut up," he muttered.

Me and Chloe both laughed, following a sulking Paedro into the living room.

"We're watching what I want," he said, grabbing the remote first.

"Okay," Chloe and I said together.

I turned around and walked out when he turned Spongebob on. I wasn't about to kill my brain. Instead, I walked upstairs and to my bedroom, throwing myself onto my bed. In seconds I was out like a light, dead to the world.

Hey guys! Lowkey hattteee how short this is, but it's just a small filler chapter. The next few will be longer, hopefully. I'm honestly not sure about how I feel with this book. I think it's going way too fast, but I have no idea how to slow it down. But anyway, did you guys like it? Please, leave a comment and vote!
