I woke up in a dark room. I was on a horrible single bed, cold. I looked around me. Nothing but walls and a big metal door. "Hello? Is anyone there?....Ethan!?" No one answered. I got up and tried to open the door but it was locked. I banged on the cold metal door. "Hey! Is anyone out there?!" Suddenly it opened. I stepped back. I seen it was Gyles. "Hello Ana. Long time no see. Please sit down".
"I'm fine standing here. What do you want?"
"Look I'm sorry for what we had to do with you and Ethan. It's just that...you must start your training and-".
"So this is what it is?! Training?!"
"I know you are frustrated-".
"Frustrated?! That's not even the beginning!" Tears flowed down my face. "You are here for a reason! You must train! Don't you understand? You must kill Liam and his nest. Do you know what harm they have caused. A group of teens wondered the woods and haven't been heard from. Girls from your school slowly disappearing. Liam is not in school anymore. He's spending his time looking for you and finding a way to get your friends. If you would like to know Adam and John are dead. They tried saving those teens and look where it got them". I gasped. "You must train and stay focused. You still will do your schooling but online. I shall have a desk in here for you with a laptop. This is your new room so get comfy".
"How long will I stay here?"
"Depends...weeks? Months?"
"Months? But will I be able to do anything?"
"You can go out with supervision from Jasmine. Other than that you must stay away from Ethan. No contact will be given".
"That's not fair!"
"Life isn't fair!"
"I will see him if it's the last thing I do!"
"No you will not and that's final!" He then slammed the door on my face. I banged on the door screaming and crying at the same time. I felt my phone in my pocket. I gasped and opened it really quick I only have half of a battery. I quickly called Ethan. He then picked up.
"Thank god! Where are you? Are you ok?"
"Ethan! I'm not ok...I don't know where I am...".
"Ok ok....what-check your GPS". I quickly turned it on. It wasn't giving me an exact location. "My phone doesn't know where I'm at!"
"Shit! What am I going to do?" I heard him cry on the other side of the phone. "The only thing we can do...nothing. I'll be on the phone with you until my battery dies. I have no charger or nothing. I only have half of a battery".
"Ana...please...no".
"I'm sorry Ethan for everything. I'm sorry that I thought you cheated on me. I'm sorry for being a brat when I was younger. I'm sorry that I hit you. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about Grayson. I'm sorry for not being a good girlfriend". Tears fell down my face. "No Ana...don't be sorry about anything. I should have drove away from this town. We could have went any where around the world. Anywhere...I would have kept you safe".
"I know...I know. I would have went anywhere with you".
"I know...hey! You wanna know something?" I could imagine him smiling on the other side of the phone. "I still have your bra. Now I have your necklace. I'm going to keep it in memory of your beautiful body. I'm gonna miss you....all of you". I chuckled a bit through the tears. "I still have your sweater". He then chuckled. We talked about every single thing. Our moments we shared. Then came that dreadful hour. My phone was about to die. "Ethan I don't have much time".
"Ok ok! Um....Ana I love you and no matter what happens. I will still always love you. I'm here no matter what".
"I love you too! I love you so much....be safe. Don't go out at night".
"Ok I promise. Im gonna keep looking for you. I won't stop until I know you're safe in my arms".
"Ok" I said while crying. "I want you to promise me something".
"Yes anything!"
"Anastasia Ellis when promise me that when we are together again I would like the honor of being your husband".
"I-". Just like that my phone died. "No!!!!" I screamed and cried. I threw my phone. I was gonna say yes. Why didn't I just say yes? I'm so stupid! I got up from the bed angry at myself. I started punching the walls as hard as I could. My knuckles were so bloody. Soon I grew tired and fell on the floor. After a while the door unlocked. "Ana?" It was Jasmine. I didn't want to speak to her or wish to see her. "It's time". I didn't even want to get up but I did. I slowly walked out of my room and followed her. I looked all around me. It was nothing but walls blocking the sunlight. It felt like we were walking in circles. Then we came to a big door inside was called "the training room". It looked like a gym except dark and had weapons filled inside it with other things such as targets, dummy's, and it smelled like blood. "Hello Anastasia. This is where you are training at...". Gyles stepped closer to me. He grabbed my hands. They still were raw from me punching the walls. It only hurt a bit. He then sighed. "Look Ana I know you don't want to do this but you must". I snatched my hands from his. "I hate this...I hate you!" He just turned around. Then all of a sudden he was about to smack me across my face. But someone in an instant stopped his hand. I looked up. It was Grayson. There was a bit of relief inside me knowing he was there. "I think that's enough. Gyles let me take it from here". Gyles moved away. Tears built up in my eyes. "Where's Ethan" I choked up. He sighed. "He's fine. I'm watching over him while you train. He will be fine. Trust me".
"What makes you think I can trust you?"
"Because we have a bond. Trust comes with that bond and honesty. So I'm gonna be honest with you. I am going to help you train because Gyles suggested to. Also I will be here because We have a bond. We can't be separated. Anyways....as for training it all depends on you. You can either cooperate and we can this thing done or we can take forever and you'll never see Ethan again". I nodded and wiped my tears away. He soon walked out the door. Gyles soon followed him. It was just me and Jasmine in the room. I turned to her. "Ana...I just want to say-".
"What that you're sorry? It's too late for that...I thought we were best friends? This has already been the second time you let me down. Not even that! You completely lied to me. You said my mom was going to be here to make me believe she was".
"I'm sorry Ana. I was only to follow orders".
"Follow orders? You drugged me and Ethan! Completely kidnapped me! Keeping me hostage...these are not what friends do".
"Please Ana..." she started to cry. I soon turned around and walked to the door. "As of now we are no longer friends". She gasped and I walked out the door. I headed to my room and sat there on the ground staring at nothing. Just like that I had no more tears left to cry. I was completely drained. Feeling nothing inside but emptiness.
