As soon as she broke the ball souls escaped. I seen a beam of light stroke right through me. It hurt like hell. Memories flowed back to me. All the pain and guilt came back. Tears flowed down my face. All the things I done and regretted will finally get to slap me in the face. Without my soul I really couldn't feel all this but now...I did. I slowly got up. I still had a major headache. Suddenly I heard the sound of a familiar crying. I turned and seen a cross the room. It was my sister, Cameron. I thought she was dead! I couldn't believe my own eyes. "Cameron?!" As soon as I said that, Ana turned her head towards that direction. Panic followed through me. I ran towards my sister. "Ana! No! Stop!" I yelled. Ana didn't seem to listen to me. Jasmine got in front of Cameron. "Anastasia listen to me! Everything is fine. Liam is dead. You can let go now".
"Ana I'm so sorry! Liam made me do it!" I was behind Ana. I tried to take the knife from her but she pushed me away. She then pushed Jasmine aside. Cameron was lying on the floor helpless and crying. All of the sudden...out of nowhere, Ana was pushed aside. With my own eyes I had seen, Ethan. Alive and healthy. He didn't push Ana hard. By accident Ana made a cut on her throat with the knife. Ethan who looked full of blood lust. He released his fangs. I felt as if my life was moving in slow motion. I had seen Anas eyes change color. She was back to her old self. But still the darkness was inside. "Ethan?" She said. I was too late. He had already bitten her. "No!" I tried to pry him off of her. "E! Let her go! Stop!" He was too strong especially for a newborn. I heard her heart beat slow down. "Stop! It you're killing her!" Jasmine came up behind Ethan and stabbed a needle filled with wolfsbane. She only gave him a bit to knock him out. I slowly pulled his fangs off her neck. "Oh my god! Ana! Talk to me! Open your eyes!" Jasmine said. "She's fine...she's just unconscious. She'll wake up. Meanwhile let's get them out of here and to my house". It was hard. We had to move all these bodies. Anas parents, Ethan, and Ana. We burned the warehouse down so there was no evidence. We decided as a whole that Cameron would change Mr. and Mrs. Elise. It was the only thing she could do to make up for what she and Liam had down in the first place. As soon as we got to my house. Cameron put Ana's parents in the basement where she started the change. Ethan and Ana were placed in Ethan's room. Both were unconscious. "So now what?" I said.
"Well....you're not going to like this". I sighed. "Since Ethan bit Ana. He has the darkness inside him. The good thing is that he's not as immortal as Ana. He could control it and get rid of it himself. But for that he needs to be soulless".
"Are you serious? I just got mine back and now I have to deal with him?"
"It's part of a ritual I have to do. His soul will be protected. It needs to because if not the darkness with feed off of his soul and make him become what Ana had became. The other bad news is that Ana and I have to leave. We can not stay".
"Why not?" She sighed.
"I just rather Ana not get hurt. She's been exposed to too much. She needs to rest. Besides her power are not strong now. They're practically gone. She needs to heal from everything. Don't worry as soon as Ethan and her parents are fine then we will return".
I nodded. "I must now do the ritual". I stayed back and let Jasmine do what she needed to do. I met Cameron in the living room. She was still crying. "Cam?" She got up and looked at me with the sadness in her eyes. "Gray...I never meant any of this. I'm so sorry. I'll understand if you don't want me or you want me gone-". With that I just gave her a huge. We cried in each other's arms. This was the cause of Liam. His doing. He wanted our family to be torn apart because his was. But our family could never be torn apart no matter how must up it was. Because of our friends. That was what Liam never had. Friends. Because of our friends Cameron was brought back to life and so was I.
