Ocean

Salty ocean surrounded me, holding me in its strong embrace. Instead of panicking as some may have however, I accepted it and moved with the current. Sunlight filtered through the clear water, the waves distorting it slightly and casting the beams around the coral not far bellow. Here and there a rock sculpture rose up and I swam around them, catching sight of life even within the smallest cracks and crags. Schools of colorful fish danced with me, between my legs, over my head, swirling and spinning in mesmerizing shimmers. Groupings of kelp tickled the tips of my fingers as the grazed past, their yellow-greens complementing the scene perfectly.
