we waited in line to get the tickets. "minho, why of all the places that we could've gone to, you chose the amusement park?" i asked him and he looked up.
"i don't know. its been so long since i last came here" he shrugged his shoulders. "next" we heard the ticket person say and got a pair of tickets. we scanned them at the entrance and made our way inside.
it wasn't as crowded as normal days since it was a weekday. "where you wanna go to first?" i asked him and he grinned cheekily. he pointed to the roller coaster and i gulped. "the roller coasters?" i shakily asked and he nodded his head and grabbed my arm.
"you're not afraid are you?" he chuckled, still pulling my arm to join the roller coaster queue. he was like a little kid in a candy store.
"pfft me? scared?" i scoffed and bit my lip. of course i was scared. i hadn't been on a roller coaster in years and the last time i was on one, i highkey fainted mid air.
"it's okay. i'll be beside you the whole ride so you don't have to scared." he gave a wide grin before moving forward in line. my heart fluttered at that statement. i tried hiding my now blushing cheeks and he juts chuckled at my actions.
we soon were seated and were at the front row. nice. i reluctantly pulled the seat belt over my head and buckled myself in place, making sure i was secured to the seat as much as possible. i wasn't going to fly mid air.
i was fidgeting with the seat as the staff members briefed on the safety precautions. i guess minho saw me fidgeting. "do you want to hold my hand?" he looked at my direction and softly smiled.
"yes please" i said, relieved. i held onto his hands as if my life depended on it. i was dead scared. the staff members counted down and minho already had his arms out.
it started out slow. the roller coaster went up and we were almost completely vertical from the ground. my heart started pounding and i squeezed minho's hand unknowingly.
"moonbyul get ready" minho plastered on a huge smile as the ride went down. it went so fast i couldn't comprehend what was happening. it did so many turns and accelerated up and down. i was so scared that i couldn't even open my mouth to scream. minho, on the other hand was having the time of his life.
before we knew it, the ride ended and i blinked away the tears that managed to form. i was still squeezing minho's hand refusing to let go of it.
"that wasn't so bad right" minho optimistically said, laughing at my messed up hair. i nodded my head shakily and tried smiling. my soul has officially left my body. and it wasn't coming back any time soon.
we unbuckled the safety belts and got up. due to my shaky legs i fell back down to the seat and minho laughed at the state i was in. "shut up. i hate roller coasters" i frowned and stood up.
"where you wanna go next?" minho asked enthusiastically, his hand still holding onto mine. it was such a natural feeling and the warmth from his hands were comforting.
"the spinning teacups" i chirped, pointing at the direction of the attraction. "aren't those for kids?" minho whined and i chuckled at his cute actions. "yes. that's why we should ride it" he raised an eyebrow and pretended to be all offended.
i pulled his hand to the spinning teacups and we got on the ride. after that, we rode different rides and went to different attractions. we decided to get some food from the food booths near the ferris wheel.
i got a ham and cheese sandwich while minho got those cheesy corndog thingies. we sat at a nearby bench and enjoyed the food. it was six thirty in the evening and the sun was about to set. there was a comfortable silence as we sat on the bench, eating the food we bought.
