the next day rolled by and it was the first time in a really long while that i woke up with such a light heart. it felt nice but it also felt weird. i looked to my phone and saw a text from minho.

"ru awake? its 1pm......"

i stared at the screen. and then to my clock. and then to my screen again. no way did i sleep in until 1pm. it felt really nice but i felt incredibly sluggish. i replied to minho and took a nice hot shower before starting the day, or what was left of it.

i went into my mom's room to see her reading a book. she looked up and smiled at me

"good afternoon moonbyul, how was the trip?" i stood there shocked. she remembered my name. she recognises my face. but how?

"mom?"

"sit down with me! its been awhile since we talked hasn't it" she patted the space beside her on the bed, signalling me to come over.

i slowly went up to her and sat down. before i knew it, tears started pouring down my face. she hugged me gently and suddenly i was transported back to before. everything was fine again. i didn't know when i started talking or when i stopped because when i came to, the sun was no longer out and my mom had fallen back asleep.

i kissed her forehead and quietly stepped out the bedroom. i smiled as i walked past moonbin's picture on the wall.

"i think mom is getting better, she remembers me again,"

the doorbell rang which caught my attention and i rushed down to see who it was. minho appeared with 2 boxes of pizza.

"erm i remembered you said something about liking hawaiian and pepperoni but i didn't which you liked more so..... i bought both!" he smiled raising both boxes up.

"i love both of them, come in!" i grabbed his free hand and closed the door behind me.

"you weren't replying me so i figured you went back to sleep" minho opened a bottle of sprite and poured a glass for the both of us.

"my mom recognised me. the first time in a really long time. i fell asleep telling her about the trip" i smiled to myself.

"well, did you talk about me?"

"ofcourse! she now knows you as that annoying kid that lives next door that absolutely HATES apologising. she thinks you have a really high ego now.." i joked.

"you should have introduced me as your boyfriend" he looked me in the eye.

the statement caught me by surprise and i coughed on my sprite.

"well that is if you agree to me being your boyfriend" a cheeky grin appeared on his face.

"what are you trying to say?" i rolled my eyes and walked to the couch

"moonbyul, can i be your boyfriend?"

YAY THE END! not too sure if it was a good ending and did the story justice but yes! the last and final update to this book~

im so sorry for the crazy long wait and i ended the book in a sloppy way but the past few months/years have been crazy with school! im trying to get my momentum back and continue writing since i love it so so much! im older now too so maybe the stories will be less cringy in the future. thankyou so much for reading this book and do support my other works in the future!
