Okay it's my birthday, but i'm giving you the present.

Anyways going to ryder because well, she's awersome and she wrote me into one her novels and that made my day.

Anyways i hope you like this, but it's kind of crapy i'm sorry i've had like no time to write and so the story is kind of bad, but the drama is in the next chapter.

Xander woke me up the next morning. He packed my stuff and had packed enough for about three weeks. I thanked him. He carried my bags down and placed them in the car. Selena dropped us at the airport and I found that I'm not taking notice of anything around me. The plane journey was a blur of what parts I was awake it. I had spent most of the journey with Xander’s arms wrapped around me and sleep upon his shoulder. We went straight to the hotel which was about three blocks from the hospital. My brother rang Xander and said that he would be the following day. Every second of the day my heart increased in speed. I wanted to see my parent, but I knew that it would hurt seeing there. Lying there barely breathing and broken.

So, when we arrived at the hospital my hand was gripped tightly in Xander’s. We were pointed in the right direction and a man approached Xander. He's talking to me, but I saw both my parents lying there with wires attached to them. I didn’t understand anything going on around me. Xander stirred me to a seat between my mom and my dad. I rested my head upon the wall and I feel the light touch of Xander’s lips against my cheeks. It was well into the night when we were told to leave. I felt Xander’s arms around me. They made an expectation because of the time change and we're allowed to stay until two in the morning.

There was no change in my parents’ conditions. They were stable and all I have to do is hope that god an hear my prays. By three I'm pressed against Xander listening to his steady heartbeat as I hear the rain falling down against the window.

I wake to the sunlight shining through our window. My legs are entwined with Xander’s upon the bed. His arms wrap around my waist pulling me close against his body. His lips begin to trace my jaw and I let out a small moan. There’s a knock on the door and I groan. Xander kisses me on the cheek and get up from the bed. I hear my brother's voice through the ajar door. He comes around the corner and sits on the bed and pulls me into a hug.

‘You know this is odd. So, can you please put some clothes,’ I look to the corner of Xander’s mouth turn up and he checks me some clothes. I slid my underwear underneath. I then took my dress off and my law Ryan look at Xander whose eyes trace my body. I put my shorts and T-shirt on and slide off the bed and wrap my arms around Ryan’s neck. He kisses me upon the cheek and says. You’re feeling okay right?’ I nod and he smiles. ‘Shall we go to the hospital?’ I nod my head. I walk over to Xander and he kisses me on the nose and says.

‘Babe you are alright.’

‘I’m fine stop being weird.’

‘Right thanks so much.’ He says with a hint of sarcasm. I smile and he takes my hand. We walk out the room and Ryan follows us and he’s talking to Xander. Xander’s arm is wrapped around my waist as we walk down the street.

It took us forty minutes to get to the hospital and Ryan starts to talk to the doctor after a lengthy conversation he turns to face me and says.

‘Dad, is awake and mom’s been moved because she’s still not.’

‘Um okay.’ I let go of Xander and Ryan pulls me into a hug. A tear come down my face. We walk into the room and I run up and hug my dad.

‘Hey pumpkin. What you doing here.’

‘Dad you really expect us to stay in the US.’ My dad looked over my shoulder and his eyes were on Xander.

‘No I didn’t hey Alex I heard your dating Delilah.’

‘Yes, um is that what Lindsey said.’

‘She wasn’t happy.’ A tear fell down my face and my dad whips it. ‘Honey everything will be okay.’ He kisses me on the top of my head. I smile and place myself against the edge of the bed.

‘Have you eaten.’ I shake my head and he says.

‘You go and get some food with Alex.’

‘Sis he’s right he fine.’ I nod and Xander takes my hand and pulls me out the room. I stop and he turns around to face me. I bite my lip and look through my lashes. Another tear falls down my face. He presses his lips gently to mine.

‘Dy she will be okay. I’m here for you. Remember forever and always.’ I smile and wrap my arms around him. I kiss him and he kisses me back. The blood rushes to my cheek and I pull away and say.

‘I needed that. Thank you. You do so much for me and I must suck being your girlfriend.’

‘I’ve had worse.’ He says with a smirk. I roll my eyes and let him lead me down to the cafeteria.

We grab some food and eat in silence. I couldn’t help, but let my thoughts wonder. My heart increases in speed and I think that maybe if my mother doesn’t make it that I should break up with Xander. It would break my heart, but I would be living in gilt and I hope that she would be able to pull through. I hope that she would learn to love him like a son, but that doesn’t seem like it’s gonna happen. I feel his eyes watching me as I take every bite.

It didn’t take long to eat. Once we finished Xander took my hand and we walked back to my dad’s room. I sat on Xander’s lap. Ryan, my dad and Xander are talking and I let the words go over me.

The seconds turn into minutes. The minutes turn to hours. No word about my mother.

I can feel someone shaking me. I open my eyes and see Xander in front of me. He presses his lips to mine and says.

‘You’re mom’s waking up.’ My eyes are wide open and he smiles. He holds his hand out for me and I sit up. The corner of his mouth turns up and I feel him touch my hair. He kisses me on the cheek and I look around.

‘Where’s my dad.’

‘They have to run some test and your brother went with him. I didn’t want to wait you, but the nurse came in and said that your mom opened her eyes and she should be awake within the next hour.’ I nod and he pulls me to my feet. He leads me down the hall and I go into the room. There’s Dr. Kelly in the room. He nods when we walk in and I take the seat next to my mouth. Her eyes are close, but I can hear a steady breath. Xander takes the seat next to me. His fingers entwine in mine and he smiles at me. After a few minutes Dr. Kelly leaves the room. I place my head on Xander’s shoulder. We don’t say anything.

I feel my eyes beginning to close. The colours start to fade and everything gets a shade darker.

‘Um where am I?’ I hear a voice my eyes shot open just to see my mother look at me.
