VI.I : Battle Trial

"Let the Battle Trial begin!"

Katsuki and I were in the building, making sure the grenade was fine. By looking through a window, I noticed Izuku and Ochaco already running in.

"Bakugou, they're in! I'm gonna see!"

"Stay safe while you're down there."

I closed the door and made my way down. I used my Quirk to quickly jump into the ground floor, where Izuku and Ochaco were now in.

I hid behind one room as I quietly contacted Bakugou from the transmitters my Dad gave us before.

"Bakugou. They're down here. Make sure that you can protect the weapon while I distract them."

"Roger that, Yagi."

I silently opened the door as I prepared my Quirk for battle. There's always one thing my Dad once said to me when I was a little kid. Always start it with the element of surprise!

I used my Quirk as a distraction. The particles of the Quirk shot on one side. And I also shot it to the other. I left them unharmed since the goal was to mainly keep the heroes away from the bomb. I waited..

"What was that?" Ochaco asked.

"I'm not sure, but we need to stick together.." Izuku muttered out.

They walked away from the entrance and so my signal started to electrify. I quickly went out and closed the door behind them. Then darkness was soon spreading across the entire floor. So far, my plan was a success.

All I just need to do is to know when I can signal myself to "surprise" them.

"Oh my gosh! It's dark!" Ochaco flustered into the darkness.

"Uraraka! Stick together!" Izuku cried out, trying to search for Ochaco.

This is now the Phase Two of my Villain Plan thing. It's a good thing that I've known Ochaco-chan as a best friend and that she's my "enemy."  Because I'm loving how this is working out for the Battle Trial.

"Where are you..?!" Izuku shouted.

"Over here!!" I yelled, trying to impersonate Ochaco's voice.

"I-I'm coming over! Stay there!"

Wait what? He fell for that? Mission totally accomplished!

He walked slowly through the dark when I decided to make my move.

"Bakugou, I've got them cornered. Jump down here when time is right.." I quietly contacted Bakugou as I stealthily snuck up behind Midoriya.

Then I decided to give him a push on the back but.. he dodged. He turned around to pack a punch on me but I ducked myself under. Then I seized my chance to kick him from below. And he fell down. I felt sorry but..

"Hi, Midoriya~!" I joyfully greeted him, using Ochaco's cutesy voice.

"(Y/N).." he said as he stood up on his feet, "But.. But.. how?"

"Well.. long story to explain. Let's just say that impersonating people is pretty fun to do and.."

He tried to distract me! He lunged himself forward to make an attack, but since I've got my plan covered, I have no problem with this. I dodged down and did the same attack again.

What a knockout!

"Well haha, I mean. It sure is fun, Izuku. And hey! Lemme do an impression of you, too!" I said as I prepared my Quirk.

I stepped in front with my Quirk energized and ready to use. I start doing my impression of Izuku, like I said so anyway.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed.

And.. boom! It was a clash between two Quirks. My powers over his one. I endured my strength as I leaned forward, with Midoriya backing behind. But somehow his Quirk was far too powerful for me to handle.

So I followed through Phase Three of my plan. I gave Izuku the great opportunity. Why? Because his Quirk relies only on his stamina and strength. If I let him have the chance to give it his all, it would be like decreasing his own energy. And when it's out, I strike again!

I gradually disabled my power as I quickly stepped out to wield the defense part of my Quirk.

Then time went on when Bakugou suddenly shows up and tries to hit Izuku with all his might. Katsuki quickly looks at me, while I was still under my defense shield.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I got your message from the transmitters.. so here I am. Yagi, transfer to the weapon room. Now. Leave this fight to me and Midoriya."

I nodded fast as I backed away from the fight and made my way up to the floor where the weapon was hidden.

I protected the bomb cautiously. Because I know Uraraka is around here somewhere. I've separated the two from each other during the blackout. Now move on Phase Four. I'll just need to rely on Katsuki to take care of Izuku down there. As for me, I need to make sure whether Uraraka will discover the room or not. Meaning to say, it's a 1-1 fight for the both of us. And that's it.

I looked at the doorway and I immediately saw Ochaco sneaking in. Gladly I caught her, which triggered Uraraka to hide nearby.

I waited slowly for Uraraka's move.
