I worked with Yamaguchi then saw some of the other guys eyeing us.

"No, like this." I rasped and he copied my movements. My voice is slowly coming back, considering I was attacked two days ago, so I was trying to limit my speech.

"There you-"

"Novalie?" I turned and saw Kuroo holding Kenma then cocked an eyebrow.

"Can you take on another one?"

"Course." I smiled and Kenma was set down then I took his game.

"HEY!" He yelled and I gripped his cheeks in my hand then glared.

"The better you get at volleyball, the longer I'll let you have this." I said and he seemed terrified then nodded and I let him go.

"Stand next to Yamaguchi." I said and he did then I saved his game and shut off the device. I worked them both until they were barely standing then let them have a break when some of the captains came towards me.

"You got Kenma to put the games down?"

"Not voluntarily." I told Kuroo then he laughed some.

"He and Yamaguchi seem to be getting better.

"Yep." I said and coughed then pulled a cough drop from my pocket.

"How's your throat?" Oikawa asked and I shrugged.

"Better." I said then jumped when someone grabbed my shoulder and saw Asahi.

"Um, coach wants you to help me too."

"Yeah, but I'm not gonna be easy just cause you're a third year." I said and he nodded then I smirked.

"Alright. Yamaguchi, Kenma, get back over here!" I yelled and noticed some of the other teams eyeing us as the two dragged themselves back.

"Asahi, next to them." I said and he did then I began their workout again, making the two younger ones whine and groan.

"KENMA!" I snapped and he dropped then looked at me.

"Ye-yes?"

"You have a dick, right?"

"Ye-yes."

"So stop doing pussy girl pushups! Ten more!" I snapped and Yamaguchi genuinely glared at Kenma as they did ten more to what they had to complete.

"Damn." Daichi said and I smirked.

"Asahi, straighten your back!" I growled and he did but looked scared.

"Kageyama, go get weight bars." I said and he did then I grabbed them and set them on the boys' backs one at a time.

"Now do twenty more." I smirked and Kenma looked ready to cry. Yamaguchi fell to the floor and didn't get up then I sighed and kneeled in front on him.

"Yamaguchi, guess what you get?" I asked and he looked at me.

"Ten laps, now." I said and took the weight bar off him.

"But-"

"NOW!" I yelled and he stood then ran.

"Boys, back to practice!" Coach Nekomata yelled and the others went back to practice. I added weight to Asahi and Kenma then they both groaned, now supporting fifteen pounds on their backs.

"Alright. I'm going to take these off and you can take a break." I said and took the weights off then they laid there not moving for ten minutes.

"Yamaguchi, five more." I said as he passed and he kept running. By the end of the day, these boys would hate me. The end of practice came then Kenma got his game back and he was too tired to even turn it on. We all sat to eat dinner but Asahi wasn't really moving.

"Are you okay?" Hinata asked and Asahi nodded.

"My arms just hurt." I was kinda feeling guilty but he should have trained harder to begin with. Asahi, Yamaguchi, and Kenma slowly ate then we all went to shower. I decided to hang with all the third years, since they got to stay up later and usually sat downstairs, but Asahi wasn't down here.

"Where's the gentle giant?" Bokuto asked and Daichi snorted.

"Probably neck deep in hot water. Novalie over here completely killed his energy." I sighed and stood then went to the Karasuno room to see everyone asleep but Asahi wasn't in there. And he wasn't in the bathrooms either.

"Asahi?" I whispered as I walked around then saw the back porch door open and went towards it to see him sitting on the steps staring at the night sky. I sat next to him then he jumped but smiled at me.

"I'm sorry for working you so hard." I said and he shrugged.

"It's nice to know I'll be better after this." He said and I laid my head on his shoulder.

"I never thanked you for the other night." I said and felt his arm slide around my waist.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." He said and I looked up at the sky to see what he saw. Millions of lights twinkling and smiling down at us.

"It's gorgeous out here." I whispered and he nodded then I slid closer to his side and he held me tighter.

Hitoka's POV
I looked out the window and smiled at my sister and Asahi then sighed and went back to my bed. I laid down and chewed my lip, wondering if I should ask for her help in talking to a certain four-eyed blonde.
