Chelsea's p.o.v.
Perrie and Kate joined me and Eleanor in the upstairs hallway.
"What's going on?" Perrie whispered to us.
"Liam and Yarry are talking alone in the living room. I don't know what about, though." Eleanor said.
Perrie and Kate looked down in the living room. I dug out my iPod and put an earbud in and hit shuffle on my iTube app. Ironically, the first song that played was the movie version of "Kiss The Girl" and I started swaying along to it. Harry pulled out his phone and was recording me and the girls.
"First, we have to create.....the mood."
The girls all nodded, along with Louis, Zayn, Niall and Harry.
I looked at Zayn and said,
"Percussion." Zayn then went into a beat.
"Strings." Niall strummed his guitar.
"Winds." Louis blew into a small wind instrument.
"Words." I say just before I sing,
"There you see her sitting there across the way."
Eleanor joined,
"She don't got a lot to say, but there's something about her."
Then, Kate,
"And you don't know why, but you're dying to try."
Then, Perrie joined,
"You wanna kiss the girl." she sang towards the living room. "Did you hear something?" we heard Liam ask Yarry. We shut our mouths for the moment.
Yarry shrugged her shoulders. We continued singing,
"Yes, you want her. Look at her. You know you do. It's possible she wants you to. There is one way to ask her. It don't take a word. Not a single word. Go on and kiss the girl." We noticed nothing happening, so I looked at the boys and said,
"Sing with us now."
Then, the boys joined us,
"Sha-la-la-la-la-la, my oh my, look at the boy to shy. Ain't gonna kiss the girl. Sha-la-la-la-la-la, ain't that sad? Ain't it a shame too bad? He gonna miss the girl."
We stopped singing while Louis continued on the winds, Niall on strings and Zayn on the percussion so we could listen to Liam speak to Yarry.
"You know, Yar, you're a really easy person to talk to, but there is one thing that I never told you until now."
"What is that?" Yarry asked.
"Well, I haven't told Harry yet, but..... I kinda..... s-st-started to... Uh.... Eh.. Urm....have.....feelings for you."
Yarry sat there looking at him in awe until she said,
"You do?"
Liam nodded.
We picked back up singing,
Girls: "Now's your moment floating in a blue lagoon. Boy, you better do it soon. No time will be better."
Boys: "Ya, ya, ya, ya, ya, ya."
Girls: "She don't say a word and she won't say a word until you kiss the girl."
We laughed to ourselves before we continued,
All: "Sha-la-la-la-la-la, don't be scared. You've got the mood prepared. Go on and kiss the girl."
Boys: "Whoa, whoa."
All: "Sha-la-la-la-la-la, don't stop now. Don't try to hide it how you wanna kiss the girl."
Girls: "Whoa, whoa."
All: "Sha-la-la-la-la-la, float along and listen to a song. The song says kiss the girl."
All: "Whoa, whoa."
All: "Sha-la-la-la-la-la, music play. Do what the music say. You gotta kiss the girl."
The guys started making kissy noises towards the living room while us girls softly sang the three words "kiss the girl."
Liam and Yarry were leaning closer and closer to each other. Eventually, their lips met for the first time in the long time that they've known each other.
