Summer yeah… So it’s July now and my childhood is slowly slipping away from me. Being the first–born generation in America, I gotta step-up my game from now in in school, which is hard when everyone around you is brilliant, probably 5 times over me, so I can get full scholarships to college. Not off to a great start since I was supposed to go to a math class today but couldn’t due to poor planning… Oops. Ehehehe…
Well, can’t do anything about it now. I should be able to go to the classes as planned starting tomorrow.
Anywhale, something pretty cool happened yesterday. So, when I was little as in elementary age, I had some friends from church, a group of guys. Now, as you guys know, I’m a girl so you may be thinking, “wow, well a girl can’t have fun with guys.” Haha, no, I had plenty of fun wiping the floor with them at Mario games and Yugi- Oh duels. “But that’s all really wimpy stuf-“hush. I like Yugi-Oh. Deal with it or I’m gonna sic my Absolute Hero cards on you. Back to the point, I had a lot of fun those years playing around and messing with them.
When I was in second grade, I slowly, wait, nearly immediately fell apart from the other girls so I found comfort with the guys playing Pokémon and stuff like that. It’s not like I wanted all the attention from the guys, I just liked hanging out with them. Yes, I am terrible at sports but that didn’t necessarily matter with them. They weren’t all squealy and picky like the girls either. Don’t worry Bliss, I still love you.
That group of guys were Korean, South Korean and some of them moved back to Korea, or so I thought, One guy, the oldest of us, two years older than me, I had originally thought he had moved away but apparently, he didn’t. I spent three years thinking that and he. Didn’t. Move. Ugh. So my family went to visit his and it was pretty awkward since we hadn’t seen each other in forever. It was a pretty good time though. He moved to Georgia shortly after.
So, about three more years pass and he’s moved back. At first I was like, “wut?” but then I was like, “oh my freaking gods he’s back.” So my family visited again and it was great to be honest. I was actually starting to forget what he was like. I’m a very past-oriented person so I was beginning to think that maybe it was time to let go of all those memories. I’m glad that I had a reason to hold onto them. That’s all for now.
Anyeong^^
