Chapter One: Sinners

                                                                        3:11am

"Sorry I'm always sad haha" Alice says looking down at me.

I was laying on the ground just staring at the ceiling, I could see my friend speaking enthusiastically trying to concentrate on her lips and the words coming out however I couldn't hear her.

"Sorry Alice, I was somewhere else." I interrupted

"It's cool, not like I was talking about anything important other then the fact that my life is over."

I raised my eyebrow and the melodramatic girl, she quickly sat down on my stomach and I shoved her off before I died.

"Ouch?"

"Why is your life over?"

"My boyfriend isn't my boyfriend anymore, his more like a friend now a friend who's a boy-"

"You're doing that thing again" I said shaking my head "You and Sin?"

"He slept with someone else, and when I confronted him he said I was acting crazy and broke up with me, i am honestly at the point in my life where I feel unloveable."

"He cheats on you, gets mad because you found out and breaks up with you.." I said crossing my legs and staring at her

Alice was not like most girls, she is what I consider a free spirited angel who doesn't have wings but still shines bright, but others might use the proper definition and just call her a nonconformist hippy.

"If I told you that I loved you...tell me, what would you say?"

"Knowing the person that you are, I would say I appreciate the masterpiece that is you because your existence alone is art, however I am trash and don't deserve you."

"Wow, you're unbelievable." Alice says shaking her head

"What?" I shrug

"Whatever, do you think I should give sin a call now?"

"Can I be brutally honest for two minutes my dear friend?" I asked her politely

"Okay, hit me." She says sitting up straight smiling

"You're a fool to think he feels the same way"

Alice's expression turned from shocked, sad and mad in a mater of seconds.

"I wish I invited you over earlier, I really like talking to you" she stood up and walked towards her bed.

"Oh come on, his in a fucking boyband that should of been the first red flag, you couldn't have just lowered you expectations like the rest of our friends?" I say sarcastically while jumping on the bed where Alice was hugging her pillow

"He has groupies, I knew what I was getting myself into I just thought he was going to be different ya know. And the other boys in the band are so sweet too me I felt like we were family."

"Men are trash" i roll my eyes "I don't date, I just see what happens."

"Going out to a restaurant with a guy is classified as a date" she said throwing her pillow at me, which I quickly dodged

"Nope, just two individuals hungry" I shrug

"Nina, seriously what should I do?"

I stood up and grabbed my backpack of the floor, I turned around to Alice who looked lost and confused.

"Don't let a man have to tell you twice that's he doesn't want you"

"Do you have to leave?" She questioned.

"I'm going to run downstairs and buy us some ice cream, go on YouTube listen to some happy music while I'm gone."

I quickly left before she convinced me to stay, I sighed putting on my sneakers while leaning on the wall trying to think of what I could say to make her feel better, I went on the elevator and quickly pressed the button.

Alice lived in an apartment close to our college, her parents are the type who don't communicate with their children unless they send them money.

Which isn't so bad, but she clearly is effected by the lack of love she doesn't get, which is probably why she settles for fuckboys who treat her like shit.

She forgives too easily, me on the other hand. I never give second chances some people say that's not a good thing but it works for me, nobody will ever hurt me twice.

The elevator made a buzzing sound as it opened, a boy with his head down with a hat came in with a bouquet of roses, dressed in all black.

"Excuse me, aren't you Alice's friend?" He spoke low and deep

I turned my entire body to face him, my eyes widen as I realised it was the asshole of the night himself, sin.

"You broke my friends heart, I'm going to break your face" I grabbed the flowers and started whacking him on the head

"What the fuck!" He shouts, covering his head with his hands while the flowers petals fly everywhere, I threw what was left at him.

The elevator door opened and I saw him, I looked too the boy next to me and realised it wasn't who I thought it was, I looked straight ahead  and saw Alice's Boyfriend kissing a blonde women, he quickly lets go of her and stares at me his mouth open, before I could run towards him and punch his face I felt an arm around my waist holding me tightly.

"I'm going to kick both of your asses, especially you!" I point at Sin "I'm going to make you forget your stupid ass name"I shout, but the doors closed before I could continue my roast.

"Stop trying to beat everyone up, you psycho." He says in my ear, his arms still around me.

"How do you even know Alice, and why do yo and have flowers?" I demanded, pulling away from him.

he pressed all the buttons and turned around. the elevator doors kept opening and closing on different levels, however nobody came in.

"After I heard what Sin did, I wanted to apologise to her on behalf of the other members we don't want her to think we are like that, I mean our music is supposed to bring people together and I'm not saying this because I think she's going to retaliate and make a YouTube video about us or anything, you even came to a show once that's how I remember your face."

"Cut the crap for the fangirls, if you even have any? You play at festivals and are basically on the same level as Instagram model famous you  coordinated boybands make me sick, and Alice doesn't want to have anything to do with any of you, do her a favour and never come around here again."

"I don't remember the last time somebody spoke to me like that" he looks impressed, I grabbed his wrist and pushed him out of the elevator.

"Make sure you let Sin know, if a girl is stupid enough to love his pathetic self after he broke her heart, I guarantee him, she was the one."

"If it's any consolation, I am sorry!" He shouts, I gave him the finger while the elevator doors slowly closed.
