She died tonight.
Just a little.
Enough to rise from the ashes
and be reborn.She cried
For loves lost
time taken
pain inflicted.And she felt
Like she'd never felt before
great waves of emotion washed over
in flooding torrents.She was cleansed
Of all the pieces of heartbreak
that had clung to her soul.
They were washed away
along with her hesitation. She was ready.
She wanted to fall in love again
But this time she would do so
with a fresh heart and clear mind.No haunting echoes
of past relationships
would cloud her judgement
or affect her happiness. They were now
where they belonged
Behind her
In the past.Image: Searched online - from claudiereinhardt.e-monsite.com
