He calls my name, softly
a whisper in the air
beckons and entices
like a lover's prayer.I should turn around now
and walk back home
retrace my steps carefully
I should not have come.He calls my name, softly
a whisper in the air
I continue on towards him
I know I should beware. My senses now desert me
as I go to him
following his song of love
resounding from within. He calls my name, softly
a whisper in the air
any resistance has now left me
I continue without care.Offering myself to him
a foolish sacrifice
I've lost all sense of who I am
as I gift to him, my life. His soft whispers envelop me
the darkness pulls me in
no hope now of escape
it was a chance I had to take.
