I never wanted to take the role that has been presented to me my whole life. I never wanted to stay in this town and be someone I never wanted to be. I didn't want to face any of the grief that tied me here either, at least, until you came into my life. Then I started to think other things about my life. How without this town, without this place I would have never met you.
You turned every never into possible the day we made eye contact. You showed me what unimaginable love is. You gave me so much despite every danger conceivable. You loved me.
