Emma's POV

I was afraid to turn around but when I did I was shocked.

Just hearing his voice makes me think that I've heard it somewhere.

"Are you Emma Dione?" The boy who has light brown hair asked.

"Y-yeah, who are you" I asked.

"I'm Shawn, Shawn mendes" He said and smiled.

I didn't smile back, yeah rude.

But I don't even know him for god sake.

"I'm sorry...Shawn but do I know you" I asked.

Oh shit. He looked kind of pissed and annoyed. Did I do something wrong?

He signaled me to sit down so I did, not caring if Matt is waiting for me.

"I know you beacuse of Jason, after you and Bella ran away, he got angry and then Matt and Rick left too, soon everyone left, it's beacuse everyone was tired of Jason and his 'missions', so I decided to leave too" Shawn said.

Wow, but he still didn't answer my qouestin directly.

"But, even if Jason kidnapped me, how did you know me?" I said.

"Oh, I saw you helping Matthew the day he got beaten up by Jason, and when Jason took you away" He said looking down.

"Oh" Was all I had to say.

"Do you know where Matt and Rick is? Have you maybe seen them? Or taylor?" He asked.

"Yeah, I've seen all of them" I said, his eyes widened.

"What?" He looked worried.

"I didn't know Taylor was a bad habit but it was just one day and he acted like he knew me, I was with Bella at the mall in California and we saw him" I continued.

I told him everything and the waiter said my name and signaled that my food was done.

"I'm sorry I have to go, Matt is probably worried" I said.

"Can I come?" Shawn said.

I don't think he has anywhere to sleep. Or even any money. And beacuse I'm good hearted i'm not going to leave him by his own.

"Sure, but hurry up" I said, he braved his backpack and we walked out.

I looked at the car and Matthew was looking out the window.

When he saw me, and Shawn of course he widened his eyes.

He probably thinks that Shawn did something to me, when actually it was Matt who held a big secret from me.

Shawn got in the back and I got in the passenger seat.

"Dude what the hell?" Matt said, looking back at Shawn in the back seat.

"What? Never heard of helping a friend?" Shawn snapped.

"You're not a friend" Matt snapped back almost yelling.

"Hey, stop both of you, and Matt just drive" I said giving him his food and Shawn his.

We all started eating. Matt looked like he could pass out any minute.

He hasn't been sleeping at all.

"Matt stop the car" I said.

"Okay, what happened?" He said after he stopped.

"You look so tired, go in the back seat I'm going to drive" I said.

He was too tired to argue so he just nodded.

"Shawn you can sit in the passenger seat so Matt can sleep a while" I said and Shawn came to sit in the passenger seat.

Matt made himself comfy and in seconds he was fast asleep.

"Where are you guys heading?" Shawn asked.

"New Jearsey" I said and started driving.

"Why?" He asked, is he seriously so dumb?

"Well it's two reasons, first beacuse of Jason and two beacuse of Taylor" I said.

Then Shawn started laughing. What's so funny?

"What? What's so funny?" I asked smiling.

He just shacked his head.

"Just so you guys know, Jason is not even following you guys, neither is Taylor" Shawn said.

"What?" I was confused, then who are we running from?

"You actually thought that they were following you?" Shawn said.

"Y-yeah i-i mean that's what Rick and Matt said" I said still confused.

Then he mentioned to stop the car, I did.

Wait why is Bella and Ricky here?

Bella was crying and behind her was Ricky staring at me, and Taylor was next to Ricky too.

Then it all clicked.

We were played the whole time just so they could get us back.

Then only thing last that I remember, I blacked out.

'You didn't expect that now did you?'
