Chapter 3: The Brain of Heroine

Mabilis kong pinatakbo ang sasakyang pangkarera ko sa mahabang race track ng Heroine.

Jiro pissed the hell out of me!

Solo ko ang race track kaya naman malaya kong napapaharurot ang race car.

Nakailang laps ako bago ko napagdesisyunan na tumigil na. Pinarada ko ang kotse saka lumabas at tinanggal ang head gear ko.

"Date gone wrong?" Bungad sa akin ng pamilyar na boses ng babae.

"What're you talkin about, Aleia?" Masungit na tanong ko kahit alam ko naman na basang-basa na niya ako.

"C'mon, Shin. Don't give me that shit." Sabi niya saka tinulungan akong hubarin ang race suit ko leaving my white sando on.

Binitbit niya ang race suit at helmet ko. Sabay kaming naglakad papunta sa nakaparadang atv car.

"I almost kissed Alyssa." Panimula ko.

Tumawa ng mahina si Aleia. "Almost is such a cruel word, right?"

"Hell yeah."

"Ano bang nangyari? Nagpakasupot ka na naman yata eh." Panunukso pa ni Aleia.

"No! Of course not!" Defensive na sigaw ko. "Jiro just showed up with his big mouth and blew up the moment!" Badtrip na paliwanag ko.

Humagalpak naman ng tawa si Aleia. "He's such a bummer as always."

"Anong bummer? Ang sabihin mo gago talaga yon!" Naiiling na sabi ko.

Tumawa lang si Aleia at ako naman ay sumakay na sa atv car. "Hop on." Sabi ko at nginuso ang likod ngbatv car.

We travelled the vast land of the Heroine.

"Sarap ng hangin." Sabi ni Aleia at iniunat nito ang mga braso.

"Aleia." Usal ko sa pangalan niya.

"What?"

"Have you fell inlove?" I asked seriously.

She became silent and for a minute I thought she was thinking.

"Pfft! What the hell, Shin?" Aniya sa nang-iinis na tono.

"Tsk. Seriously?"

Pinalo niya ako sa braso. "What's with you today? Ang drama mo! Porque di ka lang naka-score eh."

"Wag na nga lang." napailing ako at nagdrive nalang nang tahimik.

Nakarating kami sa townhouse ko dito sa Heroine.

Heroine is a Drag Racing Club exclusively for elite bachelors and bachelorettes. Jiroshima, my older brother, and me founded this club for fun. We didn't expect that it'll click. Well... baka si Jiro alam niyang magkiclick ito. He's one hell of a businessman.

Jiro is the one responsible for marketing, negotiations and finance while I am in charge with the security, programs and bets.

Because of Heroine, I earn even I just sit all day. The members pay a bunch of their money monthly so me and Jiro are technically like hatching golden eggs.

Heroine is a highly maintained club. My job is to provide our members with maximum security and privacy as well since most of them are business tycoons.
