Chapter 11

-Day 4 Part 1-

There was seriously a lot of drama at my house today.

First, Stanly and Carrie showed up, teaching me the stuff that the teachers taught at school.

Then my prom date, Ben Rightner came. He started acting like my boyfriend.

Sometimes, I wish my parents were at home.

"Oh, my poor baby..." Ben said, stroking my hair and pouting his lips.

Needless to say, I was disgusted. He ought to save that for his future girlfriend (provided he even gets one).

"Get your filthy hand off me!" I screamed.

Stanley and Carrie came to my aid and tried to pull Ben away.

"You are her boyfriend, right? Well, you can't even take care of her. I can do much better, so stop pulling us apart. We love each other," Ben said, struggling free of Stanley and Carrie's grab.

"Love you?! Hah! Not even a ghost would believe you!" Carrie scoffed, and Stanley nodded at that.

"Shh," Ben put a finger on his lips. "Let's listen to what the princess has to say."

He stroked my hair again and kissed me full on the lips. Horrified, I pushed him away and slapped him hard.

"That's what she had to say, apparently," Carrie said with a smug look on her face.

"Baby, why? It's alright to tell them both we love each other, right? You agreed to be my prom date but he didn't even ask you. You let him just like that? You're too fragile. I need to protect you," Ben cooed while pointing at Stanley.

I couldn't stand this crazy guy any longer. Filled with rage, I shouted in his face.

"BEN RIGHTNER!!! LISTEN UP. I NEED TO GET YOU TO GET THREE THINGS CLEAR. FIRSTLY, I DON'T LIKE YOU. SECONDLY, I AGREED TO BE YOUR PROM DATE BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE ONE. I WAS JUST DESPERATE. LASTLY, I LOVE STANLEY TIDESON AND I DON'T CARE WHETHER OR NOT HE'S MY PROM DATE BECAUSE I KNOW HE LOVES ME WITH ALL HIS HEART!!!"

By the time I finished what I had to say, my throat was dry. Obviously, Stanley could tell because he handed me a glass of water.

"So what are you still doing here?" Carrie sneered at Ben.

"I'll come by another day," he glared at Stan and Carrie. "This isn't over." Afterwards, he left with a huff.

"Wanna watch a movie, Chels?" Stanley asked, giving me a wink.

"Uh, yeah sure. I'm okay."

"I'll get the snacks on the table. Stan, you're to bring Chels down to the living room," Carrie volunteered. After that, she dashed down to the kitchen.

"C'mon, slowly. Take it slow," Stan said, helping me up. He helped me down the stairs and sat me down on my comfortable sofa.

Now that I was thinking about it, I realised that today was a Thursday. Stanley and Carrie were supposed to be in school!

"Hey Stan, aren't you and Carrie supposed to be at school?" I asked.

"Oh, we've told our teachers we wouldn't be in school so it will be alright. Don't worry."

Just then, the doorbell rang.

"SURPRISE!!!!" I heard Cory shout from the door when Stanley went to open it.

"Sup bro," Stanley said, slapping Cory's back.

"I came to see the injured princess."

"I'm here," I chirped from the living room.

"Hello! You seem like you're gonna watch a movie. Can I watch it with you?" Cory asked.

"Ahem," coughed Stanley.

"Right..." Cory muttered. "She's your girl."

Stanley sat next to me and Carrie beckoned for Cory to sit with her.

"Now I feel like a fan favourite," commented a smug-looking Cory.
