"Just what is wrong with him?! He's just refusing to listen, isn't he? That boy!!!" I screamed at Carrie in the toilet.

She had heard the commotion just now and followed me into the toilet where I started pouring out my feelings and ranting at her about Stan.

"Chels, maybe he just doesn't know that's it's true and can't believe it."

"Can't believe it? Didn't you see the way he acted? It was completely obvious he meant it!!!"

"Chelsene, listen. If you really want your prince back - which I know you do - you've got to listen to me."

Carrie put a hand on my shoulder and leaned forth, whispering stuff in my ear.

"Are you sure I can do this?" I asked Cory after school.

He sighed. "Do you want your girl back?"

"Obviously!"

"Then yeah you can do it. Remember how you managed to get her in the first place?"

"This is different, Core!"

"It's the same. The concept is the same. Getting a girl in your arms."

"Okay okay I'll try."

Cory brought me to the mall and I bought a bouquet of red roses and a box of heart-shaped chocolates on his command.

"This will spice things up," he grinned. "And remember, you're not my friend until you can get her back okay?"

"You've got to be kidding me."

"You're kidding yourself. Just do what I say and you'll never be worried about losing me as a friend okay?" He gave me a teasing smirk.

I rubbed the back of my neck. Okay, I've got this, I thought.
