VICTOR
We arrived at the house I was renting in no time. I was renting a nice house just outside of the city. It was smaller than my home back in Russia, but bigger then the flat I had in London, and the apartment I had in New York.
I drove through the gate and parked before the beautiful wood door garage. The house was very modern, and yet made to look natural.
It was mostly made of stone and glass. It was surrounded by lush green ferns and plants. Separating you from the modern world.
"Wow." Yuri murmured stepping out of the car. I took his hand and led him along the gravel path toward the front wooden doors.
Once inside I stripped off my jacket. I happened to glance to Yuri and noticed his face was beet red.
"What's wrong?" I asked concerned.
I realized his eyes weren't looking into mine, but were glued to my shirt. I glanced down to see my shirt was completely soaked and translucent.
Ohoho like what you see Yuri?
I reached out and tilted his chin. His brown eyes gazed into mine. My thumb caressed his plump lower lip.
"Something on your mind Yuri?" I murmured and smirked.
I was so glad when he had told me his name. I wanted to use it again and again. I wanted to call it out as-
*Achoo.*
My thoughts were interrupted as Yuri sneezed delicately.
I frowned and took his hand stepping farther into the room where Makachin bounded around the corner barking in greeting.
(I dont remember if Makachin was a boy or girl so for the sake of flipping a coin which I totally didnt do 🙄...decided on boy. Same with Yurio's cat which will be a girl.)
"Y-you have a dog?" Yuri exclaimed as Makachin licked his hand excited to meet a new person.
"Yes, he's very friendly." I laughed ruffling his fluffy ears.
"He's sweet." Yuri smiled sniffling.
"Yes and he likes you. C'mon let's get you warm and dry as promised." I led him away from the entrance through the main hall.
The walls were all white with black frames of green floral art lined down the length of the hall.
The hall opened into an spacious living room. One wall was made entirely of glass giving a view of the bright green lawn and perfectly trimmed hedges casing the border of the property.
The television stand, side tables, and coffee table were made of the same bright brown bamboo sort of wood as the main doors and garage door. The top of the table was rounded with glass and decorated with a small potted plant and three different sized white candles.
Before the table was an apple green sofa that brightened up the room with a pop of color.
An electric fireplace was built into the wall, and I started it up with a remote.
I stepped away from Yuri long enough to head to the wash room to grab some towels from the linen closet. I handed a white towel to Yuri and kept one for myself.
"Let me help you." I purred unzippering his hoodie to reveal a red sweater.
When he didn't stop me I shoved the heavy wet fabric off of his shoulders and draped it over the rack before the fireplace.
