YURI

I woke to the most beautiful sound in the world. Victor hummed quietly as he rocked back and forth in a chair and in his arms was a small bundle that whined adorably.

It's him. I finally get to meet him.

"Victor?" I murmured.

His silver locks were suddenly in view as he approached.

"You're awake. Thank goodness." Victor kissed the top of my head. Careful not to hurt the precious bundle in his arms.

"What happened?" I asked sitting up. I winced. My lower half was still pretty sore.

"You came back to us Yuri." Victor spoke with tears in his eyes.

He held the small bundle out to me and I cradled him in my arms. I looked down into my sons face with love and adoration.

My baby boy. I've waited so long to meet you.

Victor's blue eyes stared back at me beneath a patch of dark fuzz.

Mika. It's you.

"You are just as I imagined." I smiled.

"Hi, I'm your mommy. Him, he's your daddy." I sniffed back tears. Gently brushing my finger up and down his soft round cheek.

"The doctor said we can go home in a couple of days. They just want to be sure you are alright." Victor ran his fingers through my hair as I fed Mika from a bottle. I sighed content a moment before the rounds of visitors began.

"That baka made us wait until you were awake to meet the baby." Yurio stuck his tongue out at Victor sitting by my side.

"He's the baby's mother. He should meet him first." Otabek pointed out.

Yurio glared at him a moment before looking at Mika sleeping in his arms.

"Why Mika?" Pichit asked taking hundreds of photos.

"It's short for Mikaela. I thought it fit well." I shrugged.

"It does." Leo agreed.

After everyone we knew visisted even Mila, I watched over Mika sleeping soundly in the crib beside my bed. Victor was snoring beside me on my bed.

I can't be more happy.

The door creaked open. Curious I turned to see who it was. Visiting hours had ended a while ago.

I gaped as Victor's mother stepped into the room.

What the actual- how dare she.

"What are you doing here? You are not welcome here." I spoke in a harsh whisper.

"Like it or not that is my grandson." She grinned.

"If you even think about going near my baby-" I growled.

"You'll what?" She raised an already arched brow.

I felt it. That primal instinct a mother feels to protect their young. I felt I could lift a car with my bare hands with the rage that pooled inside of me at the thought of her touching my baby.

"I will kill you." I narrowed my eyes at her and shifted so she couldn't see the crib behind me.
"Just leave us alone. Are you going to do this until you die? Victor is happy, Yurio is happy. The only one holding onto the past and remaining bitter is you.
As a new parent I only want what is best for my child. I want him to grow and be happy. If my son turns out to be a good person then I did my job.
You did your job. Victor is a good person. Yurio though rough around the edges is a good person despite all of the torment you put them through.
That should be enough for you. Enough of this revenge nonsense. You need to let go of the past. Your future is bleak. You are going to be all alone when Mila gains the courage to stand up to you and break free from you, and it is going to happen. I suggest you take that stick out of your ass, go home, and leave my boys alone." I took a deep breath after letting all of my feelings out on the table.
