So much has changed since we last talked
I've grown in ways I never thought I would
I wonder what storms you've walked through

A slight tear in my eye at 12 a.m.
As I listen
I close my eyes and soak up your voice
This video that is the only sound of your voice I've heard in years
The only one I'll hear ever again
It's beautiful though
In a sad way
How the human heart can forgive
And still slip back in reverie
My shoulders want to be held by you again
For just a second more

Wants to see your smile
