chapter 52

NATALIES P.O.V

i woke up with a beeping noise next to me, i had a needle in my arm. then i remembered everything, i touched my stomach. "we tried to save the baby, but it was either you or the baby, and we had the father of the baby decide. he chose you" the nurse said.

"my baby is gone!?" i asked angry, upset.

she walked out. i took the needle out of my arm, i walked into the bathroom. i looked at myself in the mirror. how can i let this happen? why would robert chose me and not our child! i was angry.

i heard a voice "Nat?" kevins voice. i opened the door, it was hard to walk. kevin came to my side, i broke down in his arms. "my baby is gone!" i cried. he hugged me. "i know, i know. but Robert made the right choice. who knows what i would do if something happened to you" he whispered.

"you saw when jay would beat me and rape me! and you did NOTHING! so dont say that you dont know what you would do if something happened to me! cause you would do NOTHING!" i yelled. mark came in.

"natalie calm down! its not healthy for you to be yelling" he tried to calm me down.

"leave me alone! i wanna be alone! i dont wanna see any of you!" i yelled. he nodded as he looked at kevin, they walked out. i saw some of my clothes on the chair, i grabbed it and walked into the bathroom. nothing good ever happens to me.

i quickly changed. pain running through my body. i opened the door quietly, i saw alex talking to a nurse in the front desk, i walked the opposite way. i saw zach walking my direction, i quickly walked into a room.

"who are you?" a young girl maybe around my age asked. i looked around, there was a baby in a little crib next to her.

"is he yours?" i asked, fighting back the tears.

"yeah, the father doesnt want anything to do with us, and my parents say im to y-young to take care of him, so its just me and him, hes my everything" she said, her voice breaking.

"dont let anyone tell you your to young, prove them wrong, hes YOUR son. your gonna make it through this." she smiled.

"thank you, why are you here in the hospital?" she asked concerned. "um i was beaten and i had a miscarrage.." i looked down fighting the tears.

"im so sorry" she whispered. i nodded as i looked at the baby, it read isaac.

"he has a cute name, i hope you two make it through" i smiled. she did as well i walked out. i leaned towards the wall. i grabbed my stomach. i broke down and cried. i whipped the tears away, not here.

i walked till i saw ethans apartment come in view. i knocked on it. he smiled "you look like shit" he teased. i chuckled. "so about the offer of me living here?" he nodded. "come in" i smiled as i walked in.

the smell of alcohol and weed hit my nose. it smelled good. its what i need. i grabbed a beer from the mini fridge. "now this is the natalie i hoped to see" he said. i looked at him as i chugged down the beer.

he handed me a blunt, i looked at it and thought if i start i wont stop. i shrugged as i took it. i took a bunch of hits, i heard the brunetts voice. "is this the girl you were talking about? shes beautiful!" she said to ethan, i chuckled. "im natalie" i said. "ana" i smiled.

"natalie?!" i heard jesses voice. i had almost forgot about him, nathans brother.

"what?" i groaned. "what are you doing here?! wheres my brother!" he asked, coming close to me.

"shes high!" jesse yelled at ethan. "it was her choice! i didnt force her to take hits! now leave! or go with my sister to her room!" i looked up at jesse, he looked scared. he looked at me and just left.
