Kira~
By the time I finished opening everyone's presents, I had three new pairs of shoes, a bunch of new clothes, a shit ton of CDs, a couple adult coloring books, some music stuff, a Twenty One Pilots fleece throw, some posters, and some Funko Pops. It was ten minutes to New Years and Gerard turned the tv and we all watched until the countdown started.

Everyone started counting down and I smiled at the fact that we're all here, enjoying each other's company on a special day. When the countdown hit one, Dean leaned over and kissed me, pulling away to show everyone my bright red cheeks.
Lizzy gave me a half smirk while Frank asked if I was okay.

"I'm fine." I squeaked out and everyone laughed. Soon, people were leaving and Dean, Lizzy, and I helped Gerard and Lindsey clean up.
"I got the rest of this, you guys can go do whatever. Except drugs, drugs are bad." I gave Gerard a thumbs up and quickly went to the kitchen to get a pack of Oreos when Lindsey handed me a vase full of roses. I was confused as to who they were from but then I remembered Dean brought them. I took them up to my room along with some Oreos.

Lizzy and Dean helped bring my stuff up and I took the strap off of Fabi and put it on my new one. The new one was black and looked very sleek.
"Are you gonna name it?" I nodded and smiled. Soon, Lizzy left and it was just Dean and I.
"Do you like the roses?" I nodded and smiled.
"Roses are probably my favorite flower." Dean smiled.

"Well, I better get home before my mom flips. She's having friends over and wanted me home before two so then she doesn't assume I'm kidnapped." I let out a laugh.
"You're seventeen, almost eighteen and she thinks you'll get kidnapped?" He nodded and I continued laughing.

"Haha, I'll see you later." He left and I laid down on my bed for awhile until I decided to jot down some things in my journal. I grabbed it from my bookshelf and flipped through it until I stopped.
"Colton," I looked at my guitar. "Well, looks like you got a new name." I smiled and laid in bed. Falling asleep quickly.

The next morning, I was woken up by Gerard.
"Come downstairs." Then he left. I was confused why he was in such a rush but I went downstairs anyway. As soon as I was in the kitchen, a small pile of fur jumped at me. I crouched down and picked up the puppy, squealing at how cute it is.

Gerard and Lindsey were laughing at my childish ways but it's a fucking puppy!
"It's so cute!" I was cuddling it as if it was a baby and it licked my hand.
"Well she's yours. We were gonna give her to you yesterday but the chaos of people over would've been too much so we got her this morning."

I grinned and jumped up, setting the puppy down.
"Thank you so much!" I hugged Gerard and Lindsey before taking my puppy up to my room. I set her on my bed and went to my desk, opening my laptop. I typed in names for puppies and I skimmed through the lists until I found the perfect one.

"Cookie, come here." The puppy looked up and then curled back into a ball and fell asleep. I laughed and turned back to my laptop, glancing at the vase of flowers. I noticed a card sticking out so I grabbed it and opened it.

Kira,
Ever since I've met you, you've had that spark in your spirit. You've made me laugh and smile and I'm so glad that you're in my life. You know how to take a bad situation and turn it against you so you're no longer getting hurt. That said, will you be the Kat to my Sam?

I stared at the card for a few seconds before jumping around my room squealing. Cookie jumped up and stared at me until jumping off my bed and running around my room. I finally calmed down and sat on my bed. I stared at the card until I texted Dean.

Me:
💖💖

I laid down and sighed. This is what I wanted. This is what I truly wanted.
