15: Dead!

A couple weeks later, after a long day at school, I was glad that it was the weekend. I threw my bag into my chair and propped onto my bed, sighing. Not even thirty seconds after I laid down, Gerard came in.
        "Hey, we're having movie night, you can invite Dean and Lizzy if you want." Before I said anything, Gerard left and I sighed.

        I texted Lizzy, hoping she would come but she said that it was her brother's birthday. I didn't even try to ask Dean cause I know he'd be busy hanging with Courtney. When I heard voices downstairs, I headed down and saw Frank, Mikey, and Kristin.
        "Hey, Frank, where's Jamia?" He gave me a quick hug.
        "She stayed home with the kids. The twins are sick and Miles didn't want to come so she just stayed with them. She sends her love." I fake pouted.

        "How dare Miles not want Kira time." Mikey gave a half smile as he gave me a hug.
        "Where's Dean? Aren't you guys attached at the hip?" I shook my head.
        "He's hanging with a friend." Gerard gave me a look.
        "You say that all the time." I shrugged.
        "He can hang with his friends if he wants. I'm not gonna take that away from him." They all shook it off but Gerard gave me another look before we all went into the living room.

        "I ordered some pizza so that should be here soon." Gerard explained as he put in the movie.
        "What movie are we watching?" Gerard held up the case. Star Wars. Of course. I sarcastically groaned and Gerard shot me a playful look. I sat between Frank and Mikey and pulled my phone out of my pocket. Someone knocked on the door so Gerard answered it and Ray came in with Christa.

        "Hi, Ray." He smiled and waved as they sat down. A little while later, the pizza came and everyone went to the kitchen to get food. I grabbed my food and I was going to upstairs but Mikey stopped me.
        "Don't you wanna watch the movie?" I shook my head and set my food down.
        "I've seen it too many times." I lied and Mikey raised an eyebrow.
        "So have I but I'm still gonna watch it. Now what's going on?" I sighed.
        "I just don't want to deal with people right now." Mikey was about to say something but closed his mouth and walked into the other room.

        I grabbed my stuff and headed up to my room and started on homework. After awhile, I heard my door open and looked up to see Mikey coming in.
        "Hello." I turned my chair around as he sat on my bed.
        "I really want to know what's going on. You seem to keep to yourself a lot more than usual." I sighed and looked at Mikey.
       "Okay. Dean's been kinda ignoring me to hang out with the new girl at school and he sits with her and walks her to class and whenever I want to hang with him, he says he's busy." Mikey raised an eyebrow.

        "Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think a boyfriend is supposed to do that." I agreed.
        "Don't tell Gerard or he's gonna be pissed." Mikey gave a thumbs up.
        "But seriously, you should talk to Dean about it," I nodded. "Alright. Now, let's go downstairs and join the others." I smiled and followed him downstairs. I sat down across from Gerard and he gave me a look.
