3: To The End

Thanksgiving was all the talk now and I was excited to spend thanksgiving with the Way's. We were planning on going to Gerard's parents' house for Thanksgiving so I could meet them. Everyone at school was talking about their thanksgiving plans, including Dean and Lizzy.

        Emma was really into gossip and it pissed me off. She mainly talked about Tess and Dean's relationship and day stuff about Dean that was far from true. Ever since I revealed my past in class the other day, Lizzy has been asking so many questions. I was happy that she was understanding about it and I'm glad I had her as a friend.

        Bandit was asking me about my baby photos and I told her less graphic things of my past and she tried to understand but she was just confused.
        Gerard and Lindsey were proud of me to be that brace to reveal all that and I was proud of myself, too.

        "Hey, Kira?" I looked up from my laptop and closed the tab of Tumblr.
        "Hi, Gerard." Gerard walked in and sat on my bed while I turned my chair around to face him.

        "So, Linds told me that you want to see your birth father again?" I felt terrified. I hope he didn't get the impression that I want to live with him again.
        "I mean, I wanna see him, see how he is. I wouldn't want to live with him." Gerard nodded.

        "I figured. Well, I'm gonna talk with the system and get information on his and if I can, I'm going to see if we can arrange to have him visit if he's able to." I smiled.
        "Thank you, Gerard!" I gave him a hug and then he stood up.

        "No problem. Now, go back to scrolling the evil area of Tumblr." I raised an eyebrow and opened the page.
        "I'm looking through different people's life stories." Gerard left the room and I scrolled for awhile until I grew bored. I grabbed my journal and flipped through pages, reading one every so often.

         I was up to when Gerard first adopted when when I saw Dean's name on a page. I decided to stop and read what I had wrote.

        I had made a friend named Dean and he was really nice to me. I told Gerard about him and Gerard asked if I liked him. I said no, but I think I kinda do. I know Dean has a girlfriend and she seems rude but I'm sure I'll get to know her soon.

        School starts next week but Gerard said that I don't have to start until late November since I just moved in. Lindsey and Gerard are really nice but I still have my fangirl moments and I still can't completely trust them. Gerard's taking me shopping tomorrow to get a phone, some clothes, and some things for school. He emailed the school and they're sending me homework to do online for the classes I'm in until I start school in November. I'm happy to be here and I hope that I can completely trust everyone.

        I smiled at the thought of me first living here. I've come so far from then. I've gotten more comfortable with everyone, I began playing guitar, I'm doing well in school, I have two amazing friends, and there's more to come.
        "Kira, you gotta get ready for bed. You still have school tomorrow." Lindsey poked her head in as I set my journal down.
        "Just a few more days and then you'll have a couple day break for thanksgiving." I smiled.

        I love thanksgiving. I could easily eat so much but I usually refrain myself so other people can have food. I put on my Twenty One Pilots hoodie, some pajama bottoms and went to the bathroom to take my contacts out and brush my teeth. I went back to my room and climbed into bed, Falling asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
