10: Hang 'Em High

Dean•
I played with Kira's hair as she was fast asleep in my arms. We were watching a movie and she fell asleep. The tv illuminated her features and honestly, she was gorgeous. I loved her soft, chestnut hair and how it complimented her skin. She wasn't tan but she wasn't pale. And I love her green eyes. They reminded me of emeralds and you could just get lost in them.

        I watched Gerard walk in and look at us.
        "I saw that move you pulled on her outside," I felt myself sink into the couch more. I respected Gerard and I didn't want him yelling at me for kissing his daughter.

        "Just saying, if you hurt her, not only will I do things, but Frank, Ray, and Mikey will, too." I nodded. He turned the tv off and headed upstairs. I put my arms under Kira's knees and around her neck and picked her up, bridal style.

        I carried her up to her bed and was about to tuck her in when she woke up.
        "Dean?" I smiled down at her.
        "Go back to sleep." She sat up.
        "Stay with me?" I shook my head.
        "Gerard would kill me, then yell at you." I gently pushed her back down.

        "I don't care what Gerard says. Stay with me." I gave in and climbed into bed with her. I wrapped my arms around her and she cuddled into my chest. I smiled at the thought of many nights like this. "Dean?" Kira mumbled.

        "Hmm?" I felt her snuggle into my chest.
        "I'm glad you were my first kiss." I smiled again and kissed the top of her head.
        "I'm glad you were mine, too." And I fell asleep.

Kira~
        I woke up to bigger arms wrapped around me. It was Dean, fast asleep. I gently moved his arm and climbed out of bed, putting on my glasses. I went downstairs to find Gerard pouring himself some coffee.
        "Good morning," Gerard smiled. "How'd you sleep?" I sat down.

        "I slept great. So what's the plan for today?" Gerard sat down next to me.
        "Well, we gotta start packing and we leave this afternoon to go to my parents so you better get ready for that." I looked at Gerard and gave him puppy dog eyes.
        "Can I bring Dean, please?" I blinked really fast and Gerard let out a chuckle.

        "I think Dean needs to go home and spend some time with his own family. You'll see him after Christmas." I pouted and poured myself a cup of coffee before heading upstairs.
        Dean was waking up and his hair was everywhere.
        "Hey there, Spike," he looked up at me before smoothing his hair. "Gee says that we're leaving this afternoon and you can't come." He frowned as I sipped my coffee.

        "Well, I better hurry home then so my mom doesn't freak out." He stood up and stretched.
        "You can change in the bathroom cause I gotta get dressed." I handed him his bag and pushed him out of my room. I put on some leggings, my boots, a Christmas sweater, and I braided my hair, my bangs falling out.

        I grabbed a bag and stuffed some clothes, books, chargers, my laptop, an extra pair of shoes, my stuffed animals, and I put my guitar into its case to bring with. Dean walked in and helped me pack.
        "I'm gonna miss you." I smiled.
        "Yes, it'll be a tough four days without me." I sighed dramatically.
        "Dork." Dean poked my nose and I stuck my tongue out. Soon, Dean left and I was all ready to go to the Way's home.

        Gerard stuck our bags into the trunk and we all climbed into the car. I stuck my earbuds in and 2 Chord by Sleeping With Sirens started. I leaned my head against the window and watched the world come and go through the window as we started for the Way's home.
