The skin on my legs is different than the skin on my stomach because my legs have felt more pain. Scars from adventures litter my knees but my stomach remains untouched...
That was a metaphor for my brain and my heart, because my brain has been hurt more times than I can count but I have not yet experienced heartbreak.
And maybe one day my stomach will be hurt like my legs. That was another metaphor.
