When I got back I heard some noise upstairs. It came from Billy's room. He was turning around and yelling.

"Mom, please. No! Wake up! Wake up!", he wasn't breathing right, and all his pillows was on the ground. "Pleaseeeee!", he yelled.

My heart beat so fast when I woke him up. "Billy! Billy. It's just a dream."

Half awake, he grabbed my hand and squeezed it so hard that he was hurting me. When he opened his eyes, he seemed to be confused. He sat and looked at me in shock, as if he didn't know where he was.

"It's me, Betty. You had a bad dream. I heard you scream and thought something was wrong. Everything's okay. You are OK.", He still breathed deeply, but slowly calmed down.

He let my hand go. "This is the second time I see you in my room while I'm in a semi-conscious state. How do I know you're not doing something to me while I'm sleeping?"

I was so done with his bullshit. Because all his nonsense overcame the measure, instead of answering, I pushed him with all of my strength. Maybe it was also childish, but I was dying of wanting to do it, and that moment was the last drop for me.

He laughed, making me even more angry. "It was about the time."

     "What?"

"I was waiting to see you lose your nerves for me."

"You think it's fun to make me do that to you?"

"No, I think you're fun...really fun. Nothing ever entertained me like hanging with you."

"Great. I'm glad I did that to you."

The tears gleamed in my eyes. This is not happening. It was almost that time of the month and I couldn't do anything to stop this feeling. I tried to hide my face, but I knew he saw it when the first tear slipped.

Billy's smile disappeared. "What the hell?"

I just had to go. There was no way to explain my stupid reaction when I didn't understand it myself.

I turned, walked away and slammed the door of my bedroom. I was lying in bed, covered with a blanket over my head and closed my eyes, although I certainly won't be able to sleep.

He slowly opened my door. "Peace offer?", I heard him say. "Oh, come on. Did you really cry there?"

There was silence in the room, because I stayed under the blanket. I assumed he would leave if I ignored him.

"If you don't smile, I'll have to tickle you.", he started to tickle me.

I was trying to stop laughing. "Cut it out!"

     "No way."

I laughed so much that I thought I'd die.

At last he stopped, and it took me a few minutes to get to my breath and calm down. "Why did you stop?"

"The essence was to make you smile. It's done.", he bore his forehead. "Did guys approach you today? As long as you are my sister I don't think you'll have boyfriends. You're dying alone."

     "Very funny.", I said.

He lay beside me, his head leaning against the headboard. Although we didn't touch, I felt the warmth of his body as we lay behind each other.

His voice was quiet. "I really didn't want to come here, Betty."

He said my name for the first time. It sounded very nice from his lips.
