I walked around the room making sure we hadn't missed anything. Everything in this room seemed off. Like it had been put here, for us to find it. "Padua, do you understand anything the light is saying?" I asked flicking my gaze to the twins who were currently sitting on the couch.

"I don't. It's in a different language I guess." She responded. "But it is loud."

I nodded my head in agreement. I turned my gaze to the blaring light in the middle of the room. What would happen if I try to touch it? I thought. I still had Cassie and Kaden blocked from my mind as I didn't want them to find me. I have to figure this out on my own.

I walked to the center of the room and reached my hand out to touch the light to see if it would do anything. My hand got hotter as I was only 2 inches from touching the bright light when Henry shouted. "No!"

I jerked my hand back and looked at him puzzled. "What? Why?"

He jumped off the couch and came over to my side. Padua followed him. "Haven't you ever seen those horror movies? Where one character gets suspicious and tries to touch something and they end up being the first one dead?" Henry said to me.

"But this isn't a movie or a book for that matter," I said rolling my eyes. "Plus it's not like you are the one touching it."

"Leah I don't think this is a good idea." He stated.

"Henry, how else are we going to figure out what's going on around here without trying to find out. I highly doubt anyone is going to die."

Henry sighed. "Just be careful Leah."

I put my arm around him and pulled him into a side hug. "Always," I whispered to him.

I flicked my gaze back up to the light on the pedestal in the middle of the room. I took my arm that was around Henry and reached up to touch the light. The heat from the light felt as if it was burning my hand but I tried my best to show no emotion so I wouldn't scare the twins.

"Ready?" I asked the two of them when my hand was almost touching the ball of light. They both nodded their heads and I reached out my hand and let it fill the warmth that soon spread all across the room.

The ball of light went everywhere, lighting up the room even brighter than it already had. I had to shield my eyes it was so bright. "What's happening?" Padua shouted in a very timid voice.

"Everything is going to be okay Padua. I promise I won't let anything happen to you or Henry." I told them.

The voice Padua and I keep hearing got louder and louder as the light intensified. The voice was still speaking in the language neither of us could understand. Suddenly there was a deeper voice. A voice that spoke the only word either of us understood. "Children."

I blinked at the odd voice. "Huh? Who is it talking to us?" I questioned the voice.

"And we aren't children!" I heard Henry say.

I whipped my gaze to Henry. "You hear the voice, Henry?" I asked him curiously.

"Now I do." He claimed. "Ever since you touched the ball of light I was able to hear it."

"Stop the talking children!" The voice said once more to get our attention—wherever he was.

I stood in front of the twins to protect them from any danger before speaking. "Who are you and what do you want with us?" I asked trying to show no fear.

"Alayah Grace Kennedy." The voice. I shifted my feet uncomfortable about how it knew my name. How on Earth does everyone know my full name! Even Eden knew my full name when we met!

"Yes?"

"There is a danger that is coming. A war to end all wars. A prophecy has been foretold from the Moon Goddess. 'A day will come when a key will emerge. That key will either be the start of a deadly war or the key to saving all werewolf kind. Beware of the blue moon as when it reaches its highest peak all chaos will break loose and death will follow.'"

I stood there shaking a bit at what I had heard. A war? A key? A blue moon? "Alayah this task has been given to you. You need to warn your pack before it's too late and the key is already in place. Good luck young spirit." The voice then faded away and we didn't hear anything else.

All the light in the room vanished and both Henry and Padua had their mouths wide open in shock. The room was now dark but there was a little light to where we could still see one another. "W-What did the voice mean?" Padua squeaked out after a few minutes of silence.

"I don't know Padua but he is right. We must warn the pack before the key is in place or whatever he meant." I told her.

"Do you know what the prophecy means?" Henry asked. I grabbed both Padua's and Henry's hand before I started to try and find our way out of this cave for good.

"No."
