It has been a few days since Kaden and I kissed. I had been avoiding him like the plague since then. I don't know what to think. That's the problem.

"You love him, so why deny it?" Cassie said.

"I'm not in love with anyone." I snapped at her.

"Sure you aren't." Cassie taunted. "Because that kiss meant nothing to you huh?"

I didn't respond to her. "Leah!" I heard Maggie shout from behind me. I quickly turned around to find her running up to me.

"Yes?" I said to her.

"You need to get out of school remember?" She reminded me. I had totally forgotten that I was going to be homeschooled, well wolf schooled I guess.

"Oh, I forgot about that. So much has happened I guess it didn't seem to matter at the time." I told her. She smirked at me as if she knew what I was just thinking about.

Maggie put a hand on her hip. "Yeah, okay. Anyway, I've already filled out the papers and sent them to the school telling them about your new arrangements to say." She then handed me a packet. "This is everything you'll need to know about your new online school."

Then she handed me a laptop. "Oh and this is for you to do your work on. I'd say you start working on it or else you'll be more behind than you already are. Bye." Maggie then walked towards the direction of the living room.

I sighed. "Might as well work on it," I said and headed up the stairs to my room. I'd grown accompanied to having this room. I think I like it more than my old room back at Aunt Charlotte's house.

I laid down on my stomach and opened the laptop. They must have just bought it because everything was set up like it was a brand new computer. I quickly added a password to the laptop so if someone took it they couldn't get into it. It's not like they could try unless they really knew me.

I logged onto the site where my online school would be taking place. I felt my phone vibrate on the bed so I picked it up. It was from Marisa.

What the hell? You're being homeschool! The message read. I rolled my eyes. So she didn't want to ignore me after all.

I responded to her pretty quickly saying: Yeah, pretty much. I'm already enough behind I couldn't be behind any more than I already am so I decided to do homeschooling to catch up.

I threw my phone back down onto my bed before starting the class that I had to work on first. Math. Just my favorite subject ever, not the sarcasm. I hate math with a passion. Numbers, letters, and formulas that you have to memorize, it's not fun.

My phone vibrated again. I sighed and picked it up looking at Marisa's message. I'm coming over.

I froze for a moment. I'm not at Aunt Charlotte's house. I'm at the pack house. I had to get there quickly. I put on a jacket and slipped on some shoes before racing downstairs and out the door.

"Where are you going, Leah?" Kayleigh asked me as I raced by her.

"Aunt Charlotte's house. I'll be back soon, hopefully before dark." I said to her.

I ran all the way to Aunt Charlotte's house, not stopping for a break. I unlocked the back door and ran into the living room, where I was met with Marisa waiting for me. She was tapping her foot in a pissed off mood.

"Where were you?" She asked me, glaring a little.

"In the woods," I said to her. It wasn't a complete lie, I was actually in the woods for a moment just not near the house.
