CHAPTER 16

Avni returned to her room after the khanna’s left in a trance.her mind and her thoughts were contionuosly going back to the incidents that happened in last two hours.

2 hours ago....

Avni:neil..where are you taking me to?everybody will be waiting for us .what will they think?

Neil:avni..you trust me right?then why are you taking tension?

Avni:its not about trust neil.its just that..

Neil:look we reached there.

Neil took avni to the same secluded corner in the garden where they met secretly on the engagement day.

Avni:why did you bring me here?

Neil suddenly came closer and closed her mouth with his palm.avni’s eyes widened and she gestured with her eyes what is happening.

Neil:avni,I m going to remove my hands.plz don’t shout.

Avni nodded and he removed his hands.neil made avni sit on the bench and sat beside her.

Neil:avni..is there something I am missing.i can see that you want to come close to me.but something is stopping you.

Avni:no neil.its nothing like that.

Neil:stop liying avni.i know the reason but I want to hear it from you.so would you like to say.

Avni:neil..dadi didn’t like me being close to you before marriage.

Neil:what??did she say so?

Avni:no.but I can understand from her behaviour.

Neil:shall I talk to her?

Avni:no neil..plz don’t it’s a matter of few days.after that..

Avni suddenly realized what is going to say and bit her tongue.neil decided to tease her a bit and started moving close to her.

Neil:I was thinking as there is no dadi here u can come close to me.what do you think?

Avni:I think we should leave.

Avni was about to go neil held her hand and pulled her towards himself.his one hand on he waist and her hands on his chest.avni flushed red b y his action.

Avni:what are you doing neil??plz lets go

Neil:no..i brought you here with great difficulty.how can I let you go like this?

Avni:means??

Neil:hard work should be paid off right?

Avni:hoo...you want money??

Neil looked at avni amused.he was confused with her reply.he was confused that whether she was joking or serious.but her expressions said it all.such a tube light she is.

Neil:(to himself)oh god I think bebe’s dream of pillu will take more time to become a reality.

Avni:did you say something?

Neil:did you hear something thing?

Avni:no..i just felt like you said something.

Neil:so what about my reward?

Avni:reward??

Neil:yes.ok then I will take it myself.

Avni:if it is with me you can take it.

Neil:you sure..

Avni:yeah.

Neil didn’t wait for more.he just pressed his lips on hers.avni’s eyes widened with god know’s what reason.even she was unable to understand anything.the kiss was not a rushed one.it wasn’t that intense either.but still it felt too correct.after some seconds,neil pulled out and looked at avni.her eyes still wide opened,she was standing like a statue.neil’s heart fluttered seeing her whole red with blush.that is when realization hit her.she bowed her head down with shyness and she started fidgeting with her dress.neil was watching her every move with utter concentration.neil cupped avni’s face she was still looking downwards.

Neil:avni..look at me.

Avni looked at neil her face still red.

Neil:I m sorry if I did anything wrong.

Avni was blushing hard.and it was the answer for him.

Neil:so soon to be mrs neil khanna be ready for our next meet.

With that he pulled avni along with him and ran into the house. Everyone was waiting for them. Bebe:where were you both?

Neil:bebe..we just went for a walk

Swetha:neil..have patience beta…

Neela:yes beta…its just a matter of few days after that we will not disturb you guys.

Swetha:infact we will sent you a long, like really long honeymoon.

Neil:mom…plzz stop…

Both avni and neil were red as beet.avni casted her eyes down with all the teasing from their mothers,but more over what made avni blush was something too confidential that happened between them.

Bebe:now stop teasing my children.

Dadi:yes..now stop teasing them.come lets have the breakfast.

With that they all went to the dining room.all the elders were seated.avni was helping neela in serving.neil gestured avni to sit with him but she denied with a small nod.his face fell down with disappointment.swetha noticed this and decided to help them.

Swetha:avni beta y are you standing there?come and sit here with neil.now its officially and unofficially your right to sit beside him.

Swetha pulled avni and made her sit beside neil.neil’s face gleamed with joy.he mouthed a thank u to his mom and gave a flying kiss which she returned sneakily.soon everyone started eating.but our neil was in full mood to tease our heroine.he readjusted the chair and sat close to avni in such a way that their legs are rubbing with each other.these mere brushes send jolt through avni’s spine.she was feeling tickling inside her stomach .she felt a heat radiating from her and afraid that someone could feel it.she was on fire/this was all her first experience.these all happened after that kiss.the more she thought about it the more she blushed.neil noticed the reddnedd of her cheek and he also understood the reason behind it.the breakfast ended with vneil stealing glances at each other.

Bebe:daya ji ..we will leave in sometime.

Dadi:ok harleen ji. While the elders were talking neil silently went towards avni to remind her.

Neil:wait for me till tomorrow.

Avni:why??

Neil:oh my tubelight..u forgot..i told you that I will give your friends treat tomorrow.

Avni:neil..i am saying again.its not needed.

Neil:plz avni,I insist.

Avni:ok

Neil:one more thing.

Avni:what is that?

Neil:tomorrow is OUR next …

With that he left from there with his family bidding good bye to mehtas.avni took blessings from the khannas too.

Now....

avni walked back to her room in trance after the khanna’s left from there.she sat down on her bed where he slept and smiled.

Avni:stop blushing avni…..
